Lyme Disease Infects Celebrity
How dangerous is Lyme disease? 30,000 people every year struggle and fight against this bacteria! Celebrity musician and singer Avril Lavigne has even been diagnosed and opens up in news interviews about her symptoms, treatment, recovery and health. Lyme disease—or the Great Imitator—is caused by a bacteria called Borrelia burgodorferi, which causes signs of severe damage to your skin, joints, heart and nervous system by tick bites. It's transmitted by blacklegged ticks that have been infected, which usually feed on wild animals like mice, deer, foxes, and horses. Celebrity singer Avril Lavigne told abc news, good morning America, in an interview about her fight against lyme disease. Dr Phil has also covered the topic of how do you get lyme disease and how does lyme disease spread. Where is it located? Lyme disease is normally found in infected blacklegged ticks, which reside in wooded and grassy areas. In the U.S., these ticks are found along the northeastern coast as well as Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Northern California. Although the disease can affect people of all ages, the children and the elderly are the most vulnerable as well those working outdoors such as firefighters and park rangers. How will it kill you? Lyme disease has different stages which at first show symptoms similar to other diseases and can be misdiagnosed as the flu. Symptoms include fever, chills, and sweats as well as a facial drooping and the development a large skin rash called Erythma migrans. As the disease progresses, the bacteria affects your nervous system and results in memory loss, poor coordination, and a decrease in concentration. It also leads to the development of arthritis in the knees, heart problems, and eventual death if left untreated. How to survive: Lab testing during early stages of Lyme disease can provide false results, so diagnosing for it should NOT be quickly ruled out. For prevention and cure, pay close attention for its symptoms, especially that of the rash or for facial drooping. Once properly diagnosed, the right antibiotics can be administered to help with recovery. It's also extremely important to take probiotics in order aid your intestinal flora. Now what do you think is worse and why? Being bit by a Komodo dragon? Or being stung by a stingray? "Avril Lavigne 2013" by Glenn Francis - Own work. The Clintons: Killing Their Way to the Top?
As the Bill & Hillary Clinton body count rises, the truth behind these Clinton scandals & killings is exposed. Is the Democratic nominee fit to run for president against Donald Trump? Find out here. Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Voiceover by Rodney Tompkins: https://www.youtube.com/c/BigBadada2012 10: Linda Thompson, 2009 Linda Thompson was an attorney from Indiana who strongly opposed Bill Clinton's presidency when he first came into office. In 1993, she compiled a long list of people - all somehow connected to Clinton - who had died under unnatural circumstances. In 1994, former Republican William Dannemeyer addressed a letter to congress leaders citing 24 deaths related to President Clinton, most taken from the list compiled by Linda, and called for hearings on Clinton. Linda’s list is the first known version of the "Clinton Body Count" 9: Vince Foster, 1993 Vincent Walker Foster was a Deputy White House Counsel for President Bill Clinton's administration. He was also an old friend and colleague of first lady Hillary Clinton, and had connections to the Travelgate and Whitewater scandals. Loyal to the Clintons, he had supposedly helped cover up their shady real estate deals, unpaid taxes, and controversial staff sackings made before Bill’s presidency, and helped him survive some of his worst scandals 8: John F Kennedy Junior, 1999 Many wonder how different American history would have been, and what political roles John F Kennedy Jr would have assumed, had he not followed his father's and uncle's footsteps in dying tragically at a young age. As the only surviving son of President John F Kennedy, Kennedy Jr 7: James McDougal, 1998 James McDougal was a native of Arkansas, who, together with his wife Susan, had been financial partners of the Clintons in their controversial Whitewater real estate ventures in the 80s. McDougal was convicted of fraud in 1984, and had Hillary Clinton's law firm defend him. McDougal on his part, held a fundraiser that raised enough money to pay off Bill Clinton's campaign debts. 6: Gareth Williams, 2010 Gareth Williams' death in August 2010 seemed like something straight out of a James Bond movie. The Welsh man was a math genius who graduated with a first class degree at a young age of 17, went on to earn a PhD, and subsequently got employed by the MI6, working as a spy on both sides of the Atlantic. In August 2016, his decomposing body was found, naked, padlocked into a red North Face sports bag, in the bathtub of a Security Service safe house in London. No fingerprints, palm prints, footprints, or even traces of Gareth's DNA were found at the scene, and surprisingly 5: John Ashe, 2016 John Ashe was the first in five Clinton-related-deaths within 6 weeks in mid 2016, which will all be mentioned here. The former United Nations official died on June 22, 2016 while lifting weights. Initially it was reported by the United Nations that he passed away from a heart attack, but then local police came out and said that he died from a crushed windpipe. It just so happens that Ashe was set to testify in a huge bribery scandal that would have led right back to the Clintons and the DNC 4: Seth Rich, 2016 Seth Conrad Rich was a 27 year old staffer of the Democratic National Committee. He had written some voter sign up apps to help people find their voting precincts, and from what has been said about him, he may have had direct access to the entire nation's database of voters, and quite possibly have had first hand knowledge of voter fraud. Seth was shot several times in the back at two weeks ahead of the Democratic National Committee. Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks 3: Joe Montano, 2016 Following Seth Rich's death was that of Filipino-American political activist Joe Montano. He served as top aide to now Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kaine, and also served as the DNC Chairman right before Debbie Wasserman Schultz took the role. 2: Victor Thorn, 2016 Victor Thorn was a very well known Clinton researcher, an independent journalist who had been on the bad side of the Clintons for decades. 1: Shawn Lucas, 2016 The very next day following Victor Thorn's death, and the most recent entry to the Clinton Body Count is Shawn Lucas, who mysteriously died on August 2, 2016 at the age of 38. Shawn Lucas was known as a Bernie Sanders supporter who filmed himself at the DNC's headquarters in Washington DC in July 2016, serving a lawsuit against the party and its then-chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz for rigging the primaries in favor of Hillary Clinton.

Smoking Will Kill You
What happens to your lungs after smoking is harmful. For the first time smokers out there, do not take up this habit, as its effects are highly addicting and deadly. Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Subscribe to Bored Badger: http://goo.gl/LAjy5o What is it? Smoking is the act of inhaling and exhaling, or blow out, the smoke of burning tobacco or other plants. The most common products smoked worldwide are tobacco products in the form of cigarettes, which are built from thin pieces of paper, dried leaves of the tobacco plant, and other toxic components such as toluene, arsenic, and ammonia. Other commonly smoked tobacco products are cigars and pipe tobacco. Where is it located? Smoking didn’t gain worldwide recognition until the late 19th century, when cigarette-making machines were churning out about 200 cigarettes per minute. But smoking dates back to the ancient civilizations, where they were used for rituals and religious purposes. They were also widely used during the World Wars, where they were given to soldiers for free as a morale booster. These days, smoking is prevalent all throughout the world. Although some countries have ran heavy campaigns against this practice, consumption is still high. America and many European countries have experienced a slight decrease in smokers thanks to these campaigns while new anti-smoking experiments have started appearing in Latin American, African, and Asian countries as well targeting kids and adults of all ages. How it will kill you? Smoking can cause severe physiological damage to your body. When you smoke, the toxic components of tobacco products are burned and enter your body through your lungs, which then make its way throughout the rest of your body via the bloodstream. Common side effects include gum infection, pneumonia, asthma, and aging while some of the more severe and lasting effects include heart attack, chronic kidney disease, lung cancer, and leukemia. The average smoker tends to live 14 years shorter of a life than a non-smoker. How to survive? The best way for smokers to live a healthier life is to stop smoking. This can be done through the use of nicotine gum or patches such as Nicorette, programs to help you quit, or just going cold turkey. Those who decide to quit will start seeing positive results after just a month. After a year, they’ll have reduced their health risks by up to 50%. A study from the American Cancer Society shows that people who quit smoking before the age of 35 are less likely to experience 90% of the negative effects associated with it. Commitment and consistency are necessary for those who wanna quit, and there are centers worldwide than can help you.

7 Most Unforgiving Places on Earth
Most unforgiving places on Earth! From creepy locations to spooky, mind-blowing spots, these travel destinations are sure to terrify you. Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Follow us on Instagram: @theywillkillyou Voiceover by Carl Mason: [email protected] 7: The Darien Gap, Colombia The Darien Gap is a large swampland & forest area surrounding the border between Colombia & Panama. The area is largely undeveloped, & road building is deemed too expensive for the two Latin American countries, resulting in a missing link in the Pan-American Highway. Crossing the two countries by land requires moving through vast swathes of swamp on the Colombian side, & a mountainous rainforest on the Panamanian side. But the area's difficult geography & hostile environment should be the least of a traveler’s worries. The Darien Gap is home to the FARC. FARC is present on both sides of the border. In 2000, English plant hunter Tom Hart Dyke went to the Darien Gap in search of rare orchids with his friend Paul Winder. The two were eventually found by FARC. They were held for nearly 10 months, in which during that time they were fed with spiders & snakes. 6: The Australian Outback Australia's Outback is deeply ingrained in the country's heritage. The vast remote inlands include scorching dry deserts, tropical & monsoonal climates, & unique wildlife animals not found anywhere else on the planet. For starters, the Australian Outback is home to creatures. There's the Inland Taipan, recognized as the most venomous snake in the world. Then there are crocodiles; both the freshwater & saltwater kinds. These huge reptiles are mean, cunning, & unpredictable. Also, there's a large variety of poisonous bugs like spiders, scorpions, stinging ants, wasps & bees. But as dangerous as wildlife animals are, they can be avoided with good preparation & a bit of common sense. 4: Lake Natron, Tanzania Lake Natron is a salt & soda lake in northern Tanzania, close to Kenya's border. Temperatures at the lake are always high, reaching up to 60° C, causing it to experience high levels of evaporation that leaves behind sodium carbonate mineral deposits. This causes the lake water to be extremely alkaline, with a pH above 11. For most living creatures, the area's extreme temperature & high salt level makes it inhospitable. Lake Natron's corrosive environment acts as a natural barrier against predators trying to reach flamingo nests made on seasonally forming “evaporite islands”. In 2013, photographer Nick Brandt went to Lake Natron & faced an eerie sight. Lying on the ground near the lake's shores were calcified flamingoes, birds & bats. 3: Siberia, Russia Siberia is an extensive geographical region that comprises most of Russia's Asian region. The population density of this enormous piece of land is only about 3 inhabitants per square kilometer, making it the most sparsely populated region on the planet, & for good reason. The thick green forests are very inviting, but when October comes they would all be covered in white snow. Winter in Siberia is no joke, with some villages reaching temperatures as low as -67 °C (-89 °F). & if the cold fails to get you, a wild bear most likely will. Even today, infrastructural remnants of the cruel era still remain out in the open & in use by the public. The Kolyma Federal Highway runs through the Russian Far East. 2: North Sentinel Island, India The North Sentinel is a remote island in the Bay of Bengal, off the eastern coast of mainland India. If there is any island you should steer clear of at all costs, it is this island. The reason is that North Sentinel is inhabited by the Sentinelese. The Sentinelese are among the very few remaining isolated communities on the planet. Their current number is unknown, but according to Indian censuses should be between 50-400 people. According to experts, their population faces potential diseases as they lack immunity due to living in isolation for centuries. Following the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami, an Indian government helicopter was dispatched to observe the situation of the islanders. They had apparently survived the disaster, & shot arrows & threw stones at the hovering aircraft. In 2006, two Indian fishermen who ventured into North Sentinel waters accidentally drifted too close to the island. 1: Ilha de Queimada Grande, Brazil 20 miles off the coast of Sao Paolo, Brazil, is the deadly island of Ilha de Queimada Grande. Referred to as "Snake Island", the entire place is swarming with thousands of venomous snakes. The island is the only place on the planet where you could find the infamous Bothrops insularis, better known as the Golden Lancehead Viper, owing to its pointed lance-like head. Its main diet on the island consists of birds, which the Golden Lancehead Vipers can pluck out of the sky from tall trees. Scientists are still puzzled as to why these snakes are incredibly venomous compared to their brethren on the mainland.

8 of Russia's Most Dangerous Animals
Russia's most dangerous animals: find out what these wildlife creatures & beasts in the Russian Federation are capable of doing! Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Voiceover by Rodney Tompkins: https://www.youtube.com/c/BigBadada2012 8: The Common Northern Viper These venomous creatures are found throughout Russia and inhabit a wide variety of terrain. Typically black in color, the common northern viper can reach up to 22 inches in length. Its fangs, however, are only 0.15 inches long (or 4 millimeters); not enough to penetrate jeans or even shoes. If bitten, antihistamine will prevent any further illness. Northern vipers 7: Ticks These dreaded pests are the scourge of travelers all over the world, especially Russia. Microscopic in size (with some measuring a mere 0.2 millimeters long), these abominable little beasts live along footpaths and animal trails in the more arid regions of Russia, waiting to pounce on any passing prey. Once it spots you, it burrows deep into the skin and launches it’s deadly probes into the blood vessels of its victims. This leads to cases of encephalitis (or swelling of the brain) and Lyme disease 6: The European Black Widow Also known as the Karakurt spider, this menacing creature is one of the 10 most dangerous spiders in the world and is known to have an extremely fatal bite. It's predominantly found in the Astrakhan region of Southern Russia, although it has been known to turn up almost anywhere including as far north as Moscow! These black-bodied spiders usually contain 13 scary looking red spots on their abdomen. If bitten, you can expect searing pain in as little as 15 minutes, which will eventually spread to your body and chest 5: The Russian Gray Wolf The Russian gray wolf (or Eurasian wolf) may look like a cute dog, although they're anything but! As the most common predators found throughout Russia, they are the oldest of the Old World wolves and can weigh up to 86 pounds (or 39 kilograms). With short, tawny fur coloring, the Russian gray wolf can even be found on the country's vast island networks! Living in packs, these wolves have often been dangerous to man. In Old Russia 4: The Siberian Tiger The Siberian tiger—also known as the Amur tiger—has become an endangered species as of 2007. This beautiful yet deadly creature lives along the banks of the Amur and Ussuri rivers in southeastern Russia. Weighing up to 750 pounds (or 320 kilograms), they are larger than their southern counterparts and can even grow larger than lions on occasion. If approached, they become extremely aggressive, with night vision 5 times greater than that of humans. Cases of attacks are rare but often result in death. One of the famous cases occurred in the Syr-Darya region 3: The Russian Brown Bear The Russian brown bear—also known as Mishka—is a strange and lethal creature that leaps onto its prey’s back at speeds of up to 31 miles per hour. The Komchatka brown bear—as it is fondly known—is a direct ancestor of the Kodiak Bear, the largest known bear on the planet. While standing on its hind legs, the Russian brown bear can reach 10 feet in height and carry a weight of up to 1,400 pounds 2: Polar Bears Just like their furry brown counterparts, these bears strike fear in the hearts of many. Male polar bears can reach monstrous weights of up to 1,500 pounds. Living largely in areas of open water and ice where they hunt for seals, these agile and speedy creatures will attack humans if provoked and hungry. Their killer claws and perfect camouflage make them extremely lethal. They're known to sneak into the fishing villages of Chukotka, looking for the slightest scraps of food to devour. Unfortunately, these gorgeous but deadly creatures remain endangered in the region. But this has not prevented the World Wildlife Fund from issuing concerned warnings that poaching will increase 1: The Giant Russian Boar These fearsome creatures are regarded as being even more dangerous than bears. Largely found in the watery and marshy terrains of the Amur region, the giant Russian boar has not only been known to attack people, but cars as well. While bears have excellent vision and are wary of humans, boars have poor eyesight and cannot see a person standing only 15 feet away, which often leads to an attack with little provocation! They do, however, have a superb sense of smell, which they use to find food sources buried underground. Using their tusks to cause penetrating injuries when threatened, human attacks have often resulted in fatal wounds to the thighs and lower abdomen. In 2015, Peter Manimov of Chelyabinsk decided to set foot into the forest to search for a

Mad Cow Disease
Also known as Creutzfeldt Jakob Disease in humans, it will attack your brain and body with deadly, incurable symptoms. Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Watch the scorpion video here: http://goo.gl/MYiSLm Watch the Brazilian wandering spider video here: http://goo.gl/Z6dFJS Infection from this disease always leads to death…and there is no cure. Today's video was produced due to high demand by our subscribers. If you have any other topics you'd like to learn about, be sure to write your suggestions below What is it? Mad cow disease, or bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), is a disease that affects a cow's nervous system by putting holes in its brain, causing it to become spongy and start wasting away. The disease can also affect other tissues throughout the cow's body as well as its blood, making it easily transferrable to humans. When it's transmitted in humans, it's known as Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease. Where is it located? The mad cow disease outbreak began in the United Kingdom, causing an international epidemic of the Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease. As you can see here from the dark green areas, humans were infected throughout the UK and mainland Europe as well as all of North America and some countries in the east. The light green areas show countries in which only the cows were infected without affecting any humans. How will it kill you? Humans infected by mad cow disease meat begin experiencing symptoms of dementia, memory loss, and hallucinations followed by speech impairment, jerky movements, and seizures. Post-mortem observations of victims' brains have shown tiny holes in areas where their nerve cells have died. Death is progressive and eventually happens in about six months. How to Survive: There is no cure. Some patients have been known to live for about 4-5 years after infection, although their symptoms progress as they get closer to inevitable death. Governments have taken measures to prevent transmission from cattle to humans by killing millions of high-risk cows in an attempt to get rid of the disease. Also, the USDA now requires certain cow parts to be removed from high-risk cattle that show any signs of neurological problems to prevent them from entering the U.S. food supply. Now what do you think is worse and why? Being stung by a scorpion? Or being stung by a Brazilian wandering spider?

The bones and skulls of over six million people are stacked in this underground maze. The decision to place the dead here was taken in the 18th century when Paris was faced with overflowing cemeteries and a series of cave-ins 6: Chateau de Brissac The tallest castle in France is home to one of the most famous ghosts in the world, La Dame Verte, or the Green Lady. At one point during the 15tt century, when he returned to the castle, nobleman Jacque de Breze found his wife Charlotte of France in bed with one of her huntsmen. The events that followed have been provided with two versions. One has Jacque killing Charlotte and her lover with a hundred strikes of his sword. The other has him strangling Charlotte in the Brissac Chapel Tower 5: The Ancient Ram Inn in Gloucester England The Ancient Ram Inn was built in 1154 and throughout the years it has served as a priest’s residence, a public house and ultimately an inn. The land on which it sits is situated at the intersection of two major Ley Lines. Certain paranormal experts claim that these lines contain a significant amount of spiritual energy. On a map these particular areas have been traced back to Stonehenge, the most famous sacred site in England. It is believed that the energy which flows through the lines feed the inn’s paranormal activity 4: Moosham Castle Also known as ‘Witches Castle’, the Moosham Castle in Salzburg, Austria dates back to the 12 century. Between 1675 and 1687 some of the most gruesome witch trials in Austrian history took place on the castle’s premises. Those found guilty of practicing witchcraft 3: The Edinburgh Castle The Edinburgh Castle is considered by many to be the most haunted fortress in the world. The castle’s bloody heritage is considered to be one of the factors behind the reports of paranormal activity. Throughout its 900 year history it has been the site of many imprisonments, executions and surprise attacks. People stricken by the plague were sent to the castle’s dungeons where they were left to die. Lady Janet Douglas of Glamis 2: Hoia-Baciu Forest The Hoia-Baciu Forest, located near Cluj-Napoca, Romania is considered by some to be the world’s most haunted forest. It was named after a shepherd that had disappeared in the area along with a flock of two hundred sheep. The forest is often referred to as Romania’s Bermuda Triangle. A number of unexplained apparitions and ghost sightings have been reported by those who ventured deep into the forest 1: Poveglia Island This small island is located between Venice and Lido in Italy’s Venetian Lagoon. When the Bubonic Plague (also known as the Black Plague) swept through the European continent in the 14th century, Poveglia, like many other small islands, became a quarantine colony. People who showed symptoms of the disease were exiled on the island. For many this would prove to be a death sentence. Those too weak to oppose resistance were burned together with the dead on giant pyres located at the center of the island. Others were buried or dumped into large pits. The fires burned once more in 1630 after the Black Death had returned to the mainland, and Poveglia again became a dumping ground for Venice’s sick and desperate. The number of people that have died on the island is so great, that its core is still lined with human remains. The charred bodies mixed with the soil to create a thick layer of ash. It is believed that more than 160.000 dead bodies are embedded in Poveglia’s land mass. Despite the island’s dark history, in 1922, a psychiatric hospital was built on its premises. Before long patients started to complain about seeing the ghosts of plague victims and that, at night, they could hear the wails and cries of tormented souls. The hospital staff ignored their complaints assuming they were hallucinations caused by their medical conditions. It is rumored that one of the hospital’s head physicians performed a series of gruesome experiments on some

World's Most Terrifying Fish
You’ll be shocked, which creatures are still living beneath the water surface. Here are the most terrifying fish in the ocean. Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Voiceover by Rodney Tompkins: https://www.youtube.com/c/BigBadada2012 7: The Snakehead Members of the Channidae family, snakeheads got their name based on their elongated body shapes and the snake-like scales on their heads. They can be found in various regions on the African and Asian continents. Snakeheads have sharp teeth, large mouths and long dorsal fins. The largest species can exceed 3 feet in length. Adults are thrust-feeders and mainly prey on smaller fish. One of the most distinctive features that snakeheads species share is the development of supra-branchial organs when they mature. These organs allow the fish to breathe in air through their gills 6: The Red Lionfish Although the red lionfish is mainly found in the coral reef regions of the Indo-Pacific, they are also found, as an invasive species, in the Caribbean Sea and along the US East Coast. It is believed that they were initially introduced off Florida’s region in the 1980’s. They are considered an invasive species in these regions because they threaten the marine ecosystem by unbalancing the existing food 5: Payara Hydrolycus scomberoides, also known as the payara or ‘vampire fish’ is a predatory fish endemic to the Amazon Basin. It has the potential of reaching lengths of up to 3.8 feet and weights of almost 40 pounds. Because of the two fangs on its lower jaw the payara has also been called the Saber Tooth Tigerfish. Its diet consists mostly of other smaller fish which it impales using its long fangs. These ‘sabers’ can grow as long as 4 to 6 inches and are capable of easily piercing through human skin. The payara has been known to routinely consume piranhas and this usually 4: The Goliath Tigerfish The hydrocynus is a genus of fish commonly referred to as ‘tigerfish’ because of their aggressive temperament and predatory behavior. Aside from overpowering and consuming other fish, members of the hydrocynus genus have also been proven to be the only freshwater fish which attack birds in flight. They are mainly found in the African continent. In 1949, renowned angler L.J. McCormick stated that ‘the Tigerfish of Africa is the fiercest fish that swims’. The largest member of the genus is the Hydrocynus goliath also known as the goliath tigerfish or mbenga. It is endemic to the Congo River Basin and Lake Tanganyika. The name ‘mbenga’ is associated with an evil spirit that, local legends claim 3: The Goonch Catfish The goonch catfish, also known as the giant devil catfish is part of a genus of fish called Bagarius which contains four other species. The goonch is the largest of the four weighing over 200 pounds and reaching lengths of almost 6.6 feet. Their physical characteristics are similar to those of other catfish species and include broad heads and mouths, wide gill openings and fins which have filamentous extensions. They are mainly found in regions with fast moving rivers in South and Southeast Asia. In recent years the goonch catfish has gathered a reputation as a ‘man eater’ 2: Puffer Fish Puffer fish are commonly referred to as blowfish. This is mainly due to their ability to increase in size, several times their normal proportions, in order to intimidate predators. Their incredibly elastic stomachs enable them to quickly ingest a large amount of water and even air until they become a ball that makes it almost impossible for predators to consume them. In addition to this defense mechanism, some species also develop spines on their bodies thus effectively preventing any possible ingestion. Most puffer fish species also contain a substance called tetrodotoxin. Although it is often lethal for any predators that consume 1: Stonefish The stonefish lives in the estuaries, rock or coral formations in the shallow coastal waters of the Indian and Pacific oceans. It is a thick fish with small eyes, a large head and a large mouth. Its skin has a bumpy texture and is often covered with lumps which are similar to warts. Because it is able to blend with the surrounding environment so well, the stonefish usually rests at the bottom, often completely motionless. It is mainly an ambush predator capable of delivering a swift attack, swallowing its prey in 0.015 seconds. The stonefish is widely considered to be the most

DO NOT Expose Your Kids to This
The dangerous effects and exposure to lead poisoning once absorbed in the body of both adults and children can leave you with permanent health problems. Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Watch our “Assassin Caterpillar” video here: https://youtu.be/8wU3AU0l4dI Watch our “Camel Spider” video here: https://youtu.be/8m8w4V3PEKc What is it? Lead poisoning occurs when people inhale or ingest an unhealthy amount lead. Being exposed for a long time can cause serious health problems and even death, science says. Once it gets into your bloodstream, it's stored in your organs, teeth, bones, and tissue. Children are the most vulnerable to poisoning since they oftentimes put small objects and toys into their mouths, allowing lead to build up in their system. In addition, the developmental and growing condition of their bodies makes them absorb lead at a faster rate than adults. Where is it located? In the past, it was common to find lead in both gasoline and house paint. Nowadays it can be traced in old buildings as well as in toys and household objects manufactured before 1976. Exposure occurs when paint dust from any lead-affected object enters the air and is inhaled by those surrounding it. Lead contamination can also occur through your drinking water if the water pipes that transport your water contain any form of lead. How will it kill you? Even though products and materials today are being manufactured without any lead content, those working around high lead levels can expose and affect other people around them with whom they come into contact. Poisoning affects your health over the course of months and even years, depending on the amount of exposure. Symptoms include abdominal pain and cramps, constipation, headaches, high blood pressure, memory loss, anemia, kidney dysfunction, and permanent damage to the central nervous system. For children, lead poisoning can have even more permanent effects that lead to behavioral problems such as low IQ, hearing problems, persistent vomiting, convulsions, and coma. How to survive? The best way to prevent the toxin of lead poisoning is to reduce and avoid exposure at any time. If you suspect your house paint of containing lead, call professionals to have tests performed and remove any traces if necessary. Water pipes should also be checked to prevent contamination of your water. Those who've been poisoned must undergo chelation therapy along with treatment that includes the use of various drugs to help remove the lead from your body as fast as possible as it can take years to get it out of your system. Now what do you think is worse, and why? Being stung by an assassin caterpillar? Or being bit by a camel spider?

Frightening animals that are shockingly harmless! From crocodiles to spiders - these creepy looking creatures are no harm to humans! Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Follow us on Instagram: @theywillkillyou Voiceover by Carl Mason: [email protected] 11: The Giant African Millipede The Giant African Millipede can grow up to 15 inches long, 4 inches wide, & have over 200 legs. While you might not want to find one lurking in your house, this enormous insect is nothing more than a gentle giant. Their body is made up of multiple segments, with four legs in each section, & an adult millipede can have as many as 40 segments. Giant African Millipedes are native to rainforests in Western Africa. 10: The Thorny Dragon The thorny dragon is a small, unique Australian reptile covered in spikes. Its pointy spikes & strange shaky movements give it a scary appearance. In reality, thorny dragons are passive predators who only eat ants. They sit & wait until an ant colony passes by & reach out to eat them with their long tongue. They can eat thousands of ants per day despite their small bodies. One of the most interesting things about it is how they drink water. They have the ability to absorb water from any part of their body & transport it to their mouth. 9: The Gharial Gharials are a type of Asian crocodile found only in Nepal & India. In the past, they were found in all of the major rivers of the Indian Subcontinent, but due to river pollution their numbers have declined drastically. It's estimated that less than 300 gharial exist today. Marked by their long, thin snouts, they can grow up to 15 feet long & weigh 2,000 pounds. 8: The Atlantic Wolffish The Atlantic wolffish gets its name from its long, sharp teeth. What makes it even more intimidating is that it has three more sets of teeth on the roof of its mouth used for crushing the shells, which include crustaceans, sea urchins, & molluscs. They can be up to 39 in. long & are found in the Northern Atlantic Ocean. 7: The Aye-Aye Although they look like large rodents, they’re actually part of the primate family & more closely related to chimpanzees, apes, & humans. They’re found only on the island of Madagascar, where they’re considered to be bad. 6: The Basking Shark The basking shark is the second largest fish in the world, second only to the whale shark. It can grow up to thirty feet in size & its dorsal & pectoral fins can grow as long as six feet. It has a cone-shaped head & a gaping mouth that can open as wide as three feet across. They’re found in waters all over the world, both cold & warm & are known to enjoy swimming close to shore to bask in the sun. 5: The Camel Spider Camel spiders which are a type of arachnid but not actually a spider, began to get a bad reputation during the year 2003. Rumors spread that they could grow to be half the size of a fully-grown adult & run just as fast. Scary pictures of giant spiders circled the internet. In reality, they only grow up to six inches & about two ounces in weight. They have two claws that come to a point at the top of their bodies that they use to catch small birds, insects, lizards, & rodents. 4: The Manta Ray Manta Rays often get a bad reputation because they look similar to stingrays, but there exist some important differences between the two. First, manta rays have a much longer life span & are much larger than stingrays. They can live to be up to 100 years old & there's been reports of manta rays with wing spans measuring up to 27 feet! Manta rays are one of the most curious creatures of the ocean & scientists still have a lot to learn about their behavior & intelligence. They’re known to have the largest brains of all marine fish. 3: The Goliath Birdeater According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the Goliath Birdeater is the largest spider in the world in terms of body size. Its leg span can grow up to 30 centimeters & weigh six ounces, which is about the size of a small puppy. While its giant fangs & intimidating, furry body make it look creepy, it's actually a shy & passive animal that wants nothing to do with humans. 2: The Milk Snake The Milk snake is scary, because it looks almost identical to the Coral & Copperhead snake. It's ability to look like other snakes protects them. Milk snakes are brightly coloured, measure between 14 & 69 inches long & are found throughout North, Central, & South America. Their alternating bands of color only slightly differ from their cousins. 1: The Tailless Whip Scorpion The tailless whip scorpion has the appearance of being a cross between a spider & a scorpion. And, while they're part of the arachnid family, they’re actually neither. With eight legs, two of which serve as sensory organs & six of which are used for walking, they can grow from 25 to 85 mm in length. They’re passive predators that mostly feed on insects.

10 SHOCKING Park Ranger Discoveries
Here are some creepy park ranger discoveries. You won’t believe what these rangers found during a routine check in woods, on paths and on the most terrifying places. Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Voiceover by Rodney Tompkins: https://www.youtube.com/c/BigBadada2012 10: Shirtless Man Waving a Crowbar While surveying a restoration site situated in a remote location, one forest ranger started hearing footsteps coming from a nearby trail. He knew that it was uncommon for someone to be that far out in the woods, so he grabbed his equipment and started walking down 9: When Nature Calls At around 2 am, a group of rangers in the Pacific Northwest were dispatched to maintain the line on a forest fire. The blaze had been caused by a lightning strike and spanned over 300 acres. One of the rangers almost experienced a fatal encounter when he went to relieve himself. 8: Cougar Stalks Ranger While working in Washington State, a backcountry park ranger was stalked by a cougar for almost two days. The ranger was hiking up a remote trail towards an abandoned old shelter when she started feeling as though she was being watched. Before reaching the shelter, the ranger had seen scats and freshly made cougar scratches but did not think much of them since they were a common occurrence in the area. She arrived at her destination and made camp. The uneasy feeling she had had during the hike persisted and the shelter did not offer much protection. She set up an emergency foil trap around her sleeping bag so that she might hear if something were to approach the campsite while she slept. The following day she found fresh scratches on the trail she had come from. The ranger hiked eastwards and at about a mile from the shelter she found a fresh deer carcass. Most of the animal had been eaten. She knew that cougars 6: Human Teeth Found in a Park In one particular park school, children were allowed to explore and search the forest and its streams for various plants and animals. During a class field trip, one of the children found a pair of molars. The child’s teacher explained that they belonged to a deer. One of the park rangers concurred 5: The Severed Thumb Without giving much detail about the circumstances in which it had taken place, one park ranger reported a chilling discovery. As he was going about his day exploring the woods, he found a severed human thumb nailed to a tree. The report did not offer any other context, which not only makes the find itself more frightening but is also 4: Creepy Discovery During a Search Operation During a search operation for a group of teenage hikers, a team of park rangers found a number of bizarre items that almost resembled a strange ritual. Because the group of teens had not returned from their camping trip during the scheduled time, a team of park rangers was dispatched to find them and bring them back. One of them described the expedition and the odd turn it took after the team had been searching for most of the day. After covering a distance of approximately 35 kilometers into the woods, the ranger and his team had started noticing several things that were out of the ordinary. They had reached a clearing, which was not on any of the regular trails that people went on. It was also far away from the nearest road 3: The Perfectly Severed Deer Head One of the rangers working for the Yellowstone National Park stumbled upon something, which he found to be particularly odd. As the ranger explored the Lamar Valley on a trail, which was located approximately eleven miles from any road, he found a deer's severed head. This discovery would not have been unusual in an area that was known for having cougars roaming in it. However, the bizarre thing was how clean the decapitation presented itself. It showed no signs of tearing or blood. At the severance there was no raggedness and the head was perfectly intact. It still had the eyes and tongue 2: The Mysterious Visitor While leading a camping trip to the top of Mt. Sterling in North Carolina, one camping instructor was faced with a rather peculiar and startling situation. The group he was in charge of included eight middle school students and a co-instructor. After successfully completing the tough climb to the top of the mountain, the group made camp. While the others slept in their tents, the instructor chose to spend the night in a hammock as he wanted to enjoy the beautiful full-moon night. He turned on his headlamp and started reading a book that he had brought with him. When he was finished, he turned the light off and settled in for the night. Before he could fall asleep 1: The Suicide Victim The mere site of a dead body is enough to terrify most people. One seasonal park ranger was told by his colleagues that the forest they had been entrusted with protecting saw, on average, one suicide each year. The ranger initially took the information with a degree of skepticism, but soon found out that the warning was real. Before

The Mafia Files: Episode 1 John Gotti
Full inside look at the Italian Mafia's leader, John Gotti. This notorious mobster boss of La Cosa Nostra was also known as “The Dapper Don” or “Teflon Don.” Here's a closer look at the story of the last Godfather. Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Welcome to Episode 1 of our brand new series, Mob Bosses, where we'll be delving into the infamous leaders of America's largest & most powerful organized crime syndicate La Cosa Nostra, or more commonly known as The Mafia. Today we'll be taking a closer look at the one & only, John Gotti. Also known as “The Dapper Don” by the media, John Gotti had a reputation for living a flashy lifestyle filled with extravagant fashion & luxury. The Don, another word for the boss who acts as the brains & leader of the family, is said to have adored media attention. Whereas old school dons preferred living & moving in the shadows, Gotti loved the spotlight. But his flashy appearances proved disastrous as it ultimately led to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. To give you an idea of how vicious John Gotti really was & why his behavior ended him behind bars, we'll take a look at the story of John Favara—a classic example of his ruthless, unforgiving behavior. March 18th, 1980: John Gotti's 12-year-old son Frank darts into the street on a motorized minibike from behind a dumpster when all of a sudden, he was struck & killed by an oncoming vehicle. The man driving the vehicle was 51-year-old furniture store manager John Favara, who lived just one block away from the Gotti family. Fast forward four months later: July 28th, 1980. Before Favara & his family were able to move, he was shoved into a van by several men near his work. Several witnesses to the abduction state that he was beaten with a baseball bat while other accounts assert he was silenced with a .22 caliber pistol. One testimony in particular goes so far as to say Favara was alive as he was dismembered with a chainsaw, stuffed into a barrel filled with concrete, then either dumped into the ocean or buried in a lot somewhere. The exact happenings of his body are still unknown, but what is confirmed is the brutality involved behind Favara's death. Before turning 30 years old, John Gotti spent three stints in jail, the last term being a three-year lockup for truck hijackings at the JFK airport. But his mobster tendencies were quickly displayed because as soon as he was released in 1972, he immediately went back to the streets. He swiftly moved through the ranks & soon became a capo of the Bergin Crew that same year. The Bergin Crew was a subcrew of the Gambino family & was under the command of Carmine Fatico at the time. Three years later in 1975, Gotti found himself back behind bars once more; this time for the killing of Irish-American gangster James McBratney, who had kidnapped & killed the nephew of Carlo Gambino, or the head of the Gambino family at the time. Gotti was an accomplice in the hit-team assigned to take revenge for the murder, & thus he was sentenced to four years in prison after taking a plea deal. In 1977 after spending only two years in jail, Gotti was released & was rewarded by the Gambino family for his part in the murder. With the Gambino family now under the command of Paul Castellano, Gotti was not only initiated into the family but was also immediately promoted to taking back his old position as capo of the Bergin Crew. As a skillful earner with a violent disposition, it came as no surprise that Gotti was able to take over the position of boss of the Gambino family by ultimately killing another boss. The Gambino family's boss at the time was Paul Castellano, who took over the position after Carlo Gambino died of natural causes in 1976. Gotti became disgruntled with Castellano due to his belief that Castellano was too isolated & greedy. He also found him to have a lack of street credibility. Despite his desire to “whack,” or assassinate, Castellano, he knew he would be unable to due to the Commission, which stood in his way. The Commission was founded in 1931 & acted as the governing body of the American Mafia. It consisted of the five New York family bosses & the boss of the Chicago Outfit. Gotti knew that he would not be granted permission by the Commission to kill off Castellano. Without this permission, he risked being killed soon afterwards as revenge. Gotti, therefore, turned to several important figures of his generation, all of whom held important positions within other big families. Doing so allowed him to indirectly attain permission for the killing. On December 16th, 1985, after being set up by Gotti & his assassins, Castellano was shot dead as Gotti watched the hit from his car. He was formally acclaimed as the new boss of the Gambino family at a meeting of 20 capos held on January 15th, 1986.

8 Tiny Animals That Can Destroy
Tiny animals that can destroy. These animals are the smallest creatures on earth, but can still be very dangerous to other species or us humans. Support our Patreon today: https://www.patreon.com/theywillkillyou Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Follow us on Instagram: @theywillkillyou Number 8 Tsetse Fly Even though tsetse flies resemble common houseflies in appearance, they are nothing alike when it comes to the dangers they pose for human beings. These creatures are much tougher than houseflies, which are usually easily crushed with a flyswatter. Tsetse flies are equipped with a long proboscis which they use to feed. Number 7 Caterpillar The caterpillar is the larval form of the southern flannel moth and it can be found in various parts of the United States, Mexico and Central America. Its preferred habitat consists of elms, oaks, wild plum as well as numerous garden plants such as rose and ivy. It usually measures around one inch in length. Number 6 Tarantula Hawk Mental discipline simply does not work in these situations.’ Tarantula hawks have very large stingers which is why few other animals are able to eat them. According to the Schimdt index, this wasp is in the top ones of the animal kingdom. Number 5 Irukandji Jellyfish With a bell that rarely exceeds one inch in width, the Irukandji jellyfish is one of the smallest jellyfish species in the world. It has four thin tentacles which can reach up to 3.3 feet in length. Unlike other jellyfish species that only have stingers on their tentacles, the Irukandji jellyfish also has stingers on its bell, a unique adaptation that researchers have yet to figure out. Its size and fragility make studying it quite difficult which is why not much is known about this creature. Number 4 Blue Ringed Octopus They are small in size with only 5 to 8 inches. This marine creature has yellowish skin and blue-black rings that change color as a warning display. That’s when the body turns bright yellow and the rings start flashing bright iridescent blue within a third of a second. These rapid flashes tell would-be predators that they are taking on an exceptionally large creature. Number 3 Ticks These tiny arachnids rarely measure more than 0.20 inches. They’re widely distributed all-over the world but tend to prefer warm, humid climates. There are two major tick families: the Argasidae, also known as soft ticks and the Ixodidae, or hard ticks. They have eight legs and oval or pear-shaped bodies. Number 2 Mosquitoes It may be hard to believe but the tiny mosquito is actually the worst animal on Earth. It feeds on mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, even on certain types of fish or invertebrates. Mosquitoes belong to the Culicidae family and draw their names from the Spanish term for ‘little fly’. Females of the species have a tube-like mouthpart, called a proboscis. There are more than 2,500 mosquito species and many of them have evolved resistance against commonly-used insecticides. Number 1 Lonomia Caterpillar Lonomia obliqua, also known as the giant silkworm moth, is a creature in larval form. The lonomia obliqua caterpillar measures around 2 inches in length with colors ranging from brown to green and it’s typically well camouflaged. Rows of tubercles make up the caterpillar’s body and they are crowned with whorls of detachable spines that vary in size. These caterpillars can be found in southern Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina.

9 of History's Creepiest Cursed Artifacts
Here are 9 of history's creepiest cursed artifacts. You may believe it or not - but these creepy stories can lead to sleepless nights. Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Voiceover by Rodney Tompkins: https://www.youtube.com/c/BigBadada2012 9: The Dybbuk Box In Jewish folklore, there is believed to exist dybbuks, malicious spirits that are the dislocated souls of dead people. In 2004, a man named Kevin Mannis auctioned a wine cabinet he referred to as the Dybuuk Box, which he described as containing the evil spirit that has wreaked havoc to the box's previous owners. Mannis, who owned a small antique shop in Portland claimed that he bought the box at an estate sale in 2003. It was once owned by a Jewish 8: Maori Warrior Masks The Maoris are the indigenous people of modern day New Zealand, and are known for their fierceness. They loved to taunt and scare their enemies, and carved out scary looking masks to wear in battle. They believed that when killed in battle, a warrior's spirit will remain within his mask. A Wellington based museum that houses these masks has imposed a rather strange rule for visitors - any pregnant and menstruating women are to stay away from their tour of sacred Maori artifacts, or risk incurring the curse. The museum 7: Pompeii Artifacts The ancient Roman town of Pompeii was destroyed in the eruption of Mount Vesuvias nearly 2000 years ago. The eruption not only destroyed the city, but also killed thousands of its inhabitants, burying them under tons of volcanic ash. Today the site has become a popular tourist attraction in modern day Naples, in Italy. But it seems like the Roman gods are not done with Pompeii, as tourists who pilfer the site are also punished. Among the thousands who visit the ruins every year, there are those who go home with a little more than just memories - they take some relics themselves. However, many tourists who have 6: The Hope Diamond The Hope Diamond is one of the most famous jewels in the world. Its exceptionally rare blue color and large size awes anyone who looks at it, and has ownership records dating back almost four hundred years. According to some early accounts, the diamond was originally an eye of a sculpted statue of the goddess Sita that resided in a temple in India. Legend 5: Gettysburg Rocks The Battle of Gettysburg fought in 1863 had the largest number of casualties of the entire American Civil War. It is considered the most costly battle in American history, with casualties from both sides reaching up to 50,000 soldiers in the intense 3 day battle. Today, the battlefield is well preserved and maintained by the US National Park Service, and receives many visitors every year. Every now and then, the park would receive envelopes or packages 4: Ötzi the Iceman In September 1991, a frozen mummy was found in a glacier in the Ötztal Alps at the border between Austria and Italy. Ötzi the Iceman, as he was nicknamed, lived more than five thousand years ago, and is Europe's oldest known naturally preserved human corpse, offering valuable information for researchers and scientists studying him. But over the years, many people connected to the discovery and research of the Iceman have died under mysterious and violent circumstances, prompting allegations of an "Ötzi mummy curse" 3: The Koh-i-Noor Diamond Koh-i-Noor which translates as Mountain of Light in Persian is a 105 carat diamond, one of the largest and most well known in the world. Originating from India, it has belonged to various rulers, among them Hindu, Mughal, Afghan, and Sikh, before finally ending up in the hands of the British Monarch. The large gemstone 2: The Terra Cotta Army The terracotts soldiers are without doubt the most impressive collection of human sculptures in the world, with over 8000 soldiers and 600 horses depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of a unified China. But for the locals who first discovered the statues, the terracotta army has brought them nothing but despair. In 1974, seven local farmers in Lintong District of Shaanxi province unearthed terracotta figures while digging a water well close to the Qin Emperor’s tomb mound nearby. The discovery 1: The Tomb of Tutankhamun You've probably heard of the terrifying curse of King Tut's tomb, even if you're not much into Egyptology. 1923 remains an important date in the field of archeology and the study of Ancient Egypt when Howard Carter and his team opened the untouched tomb of the Egyptian pharaoh of the 18th dynasty Tutankhamun. Unlike other tombs in Egypt's Valley of the Kings, King Tut's tomb

Sal collected his 2-month-old sister & carried her out to the couch. Using a step-stool, he opened the garage door, returned for his sister, then ran for the neighbor’s house. When the neighbor answered the door, he told them what had happened. The neighbor called 911 & went next door to check on Kaitlyn. 6: Roman When Roman, a 4-year-old from Croydon, UK found his mother unconscious on the floor unable to breathe, he realized something was wrong & that he needed to do something immediately. So he did what any child growing up in the age of cell phones would do: ask Siri. Roman grabbed his mom’s iPhone & tried to call for help, but the phone was locked. Having used her iPhone before to play games, he knew exactly how to unlock it. Later, Apple's CEO Tim Cook posted the news on Twitter congratulating the boy on his heroism. 5: Tregan When Jailyn got off the phone with her husband she felt her heart racing. That’s when everything went black. Tregan the 5-year-old picked up the phone with the dispatcher still on the line. It wasn’t until Tregan flashed the porch lights on & off that they finally located the house. While all this was going on, Lincoln the 15-month-old son wandered outside & into a neighbor’s yard, giving the paramedics another scare. When Jailyn awoke in the ambulance, paramedics told her that her brave son had saved her life. To this day, Jailyn calls Tregan her “little super hero”. 4: J.T. Parker In July of 2017, Stephen Parker & his two sons, J.T. & Mason were working on a car in their backyard. They were taking the engine out of a Toyota Prius & had it up in the air. That’s when Stephen climbed underneath to remove the axels. Mason cut himself & went back inside the house to treat his wound, but Stephen continued removing the axels. It was at this moment that the car shifted & fell on top of him, pinning him to the ground. He called for his other son J.T. to help lift the car up, but only weighing in at 50 pounds he didn’t think the boy could manage. J.T. began jumping up & down on the jack. 3: Kane O'Connor 8-year-old Kane O’Connor was deep asleep when he was awoken by the smell of smoke & the heat of flames. "I couldn't breathe & I felt the fire hitting my head.” He ran into his parents's room, woke them up, & told them the house was on fire. The family managed to escape unharmed. The cause of a fire was ruled an accident & blamed on a space heater in Kane’s bedroom. Kane said that when he saw the fire he instinctively knew what to do. He was honored as a hero at his school. 2: Joe Ellingworth While listening to his health class teacher instruct them on CPR, Joe Ellingworth thought about zoning out, but decided he'd better pay attention. Luckily, Joe remembered what they taught him in class. He told his mom she can do it & instructed her in exactly what to do. 1: Maddie Weiler While on vacation at Busch Gardens, Brandie Weiler & her two daughters, Maddie & Millie spotted a car accident in the road in front of them. Paul Salsman—the man responsible for the accident—fled his vehicle & went toward the Weiler family van. She watched as Salsman reached through the window, unlocked the door, & climbed inside.

10 Ancient Unearthed Discoveries
Ancient unearthed discoveries! These archaeological finds changed history! Here are old coins, stones, hieroglyphics & treasures that were discovered in temples & caves. Support our Patreon today: https://www.patreon.com/theywillkillyou Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Follow us on Instagram: @theywillkillyou Voiceover by Carl Mason: [email protected] The regains of a Greco-Roman temple were discovered at Al-Salam in Egypt’s Western Desert, located roughly 2000 miles in the south of the Mediterranean Sea. Parts of the foundation and main entrance were found, including two limestone lion statues. Also uncovered was an outer wall nearly 3 feet thick, leading to a front courtyard surrounded on both sides by the entrances to other chambers. Coins, fragments of pottery and a statue of a man’s head were dug out by the archaeologists. Explorers of a cave in Israel have discovered a small trove with silver coins and jewellery, dating back to the time of Alexander the Great. It is believed that the treasure was hidden there to be used again once things settled. The authorities announced that the 2,300-year-old treasure was the first of its kind to be found. While volunteering in the Temple Mount Sifting Project, a 10-year-old boy from Russia made a remarkable discovery. He found a 3,000-year-old seal, dating from the time of king David. In an expedition of Mount Owen, New Zeeland, in 1986, archaeologists came across a huge well-preserved claw. The mysterious discovery turned out to be the claw of a 3,300-year-old Upland Moa, a species that appeared on Earth around 18.5 million years ago. The moa was one of the largest species of birds on the planet. Back in 1799, during one of Napoleon Bonaparte’s expeditions in Egypt, a French man found a slab near the town of Rosetta. Archaeologists later discovered that it contained passages written in three different characters: Greek, Demotic and Egyptian hieroglyphics. It appears that it was inscribed to honor Ptolemy V, the king of Egypt during the second century BC. He was named after an ivory plaque with the image of a griffin that was with him. Researchers also found gold and silver cups and no less than 50 gold and gemstone seals, engraved with intricate imagery. One of the seals contains an extremely detailed image. The carving was less than an inch and a half long. How the stone was carved is somewhat of a mystery, as no type of magnifying devices were found in the ancient Greek world. Hidden on the Island of Honshu in Japan, archaeologists found a treasure trove, dating back to the 15th or 16th century. After years of excavating a complex of buildings near the city of Hasuda, they came across the largest monetary finding in the country’s history - a clay pitcher containing hundreds of thousands of coins.

World's Most Venomous Snake
The inland taipan is the most venomous snake in the world. Its venom drop for drop is by far the most toxic of any snake. One bite contains enough lethality to kill 100 full grown men. It's called the inland taipan, and here's what you need to know to survive an attack. What is it? The inland taipan (Oxyuranus microlepidotus)--also known as the western taipan, the small-scaled snake, or the fierce snake--is a dark tan snake ranging from a rich, dark hue to a brownish light-green depending on the season. It averages about 1.8 meters (5.9 ft) in length, or the size of an average male in Sweden. Unlike most venomous snakes that strike with a single bite then wait for their prey to die (such as the king cobra or black mamba), the inland taipan is known to subdue their prey with a series of rapid, accurate strikes. It can deliver up to eight venomous bites in a single attack. Where is it located? The inland taipan is found in Australia where the Queensland and South Australia borders converge. They inhabit deserts and black soil plains in semi-arid regions with little cover or vegetation. They use the deep cracks and fissures formed the in the soil to escape predators and the heat. How will it kill you? Measurements of the inland taipan's toxicity levels have proven to make it the most venomous snake in the world with a fatality rate of over 80% if a bite is left untreated. The first symptoms of a bite include nausea, dizziness, vomiting, and collapse or convulsions. This then leads to major organ effects such nerve damage, blood clotting disorder, and kidney damage, all of which ultimately lead to death. The venom acts fast and usually kills a person within 45 minutes of being bit. How to survive: The most effective way of treating an inland taipan bite is through the use of a polyvalent antivenom, or broad spectrum antivenom. This is a combined antivenom used to treat bites of any unidentified snake in Australia. Is is possible to survive a bite without the use of antivenom, although the survival rate of this is low and the victim would have a high likelihood of suffering considerable muscle and heart damage. So which wildlife TV personality handled an inland taipan on his show? Steve Irwin, or "The Crocodile Hunter," handled an inland taipan as it made several attempts to bite him in the face. So would you rather…be bit by the inland taipan? Or be poisoned by the suicide tree?

They discovered a brain tumor containing teeth-like structures. The baby underwent surgery, & after removing the brain tumor, doctors reportedly found several fully formed teeth inside. It was later discovered that the teeth found inside the tumor were normally found in the lower jaw. It was revealed that the infant had a rare brain tumor called craniopharyngioma, which can grow to be larger than the size of a golf ball, but doesn’t spread. 7 A Woman’s bizarre habit causes heart disease Before but also during pregnancy, she used to ingest a 1-pound box of baking soda a day. The 35-year-old started to feel weak & dizzy during her 37th week of pregnancy so she went to the hospital. Initially, doctors diagnosed her with an irregular heartbeat & muscle weakness in her legs, but later revealed that she also had low levels of potassium, which was unusual. They began asking about her diet, but she failed to mention this curious eating habit. She was admitted into hospital & soon transferred to the intensive care unit, after developing a rapid heart rate. 6 Man left with a fishbone inside his eyelid after a day at the beach After spending a day at the beach, a 52-year old man was reportedly left with a fishbone inside his eyelid. He was swimming the Red Sea when it happened. However, he later developed a droopy swollen eyelid that didn’t heal for over a month, & decided to visit his doctor. However, doctors prescribed anti-epileptic medication to keep his condition under control. rehabilitation facility, to recover. 4 Born with a hairy tumor on his eye A 19-year-old Iranian man’s eye tumor, which was benign & present since birth, caught doctors attention after sprouting a few black hairs. Researchers at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences were surprised to see the hair follicles on the man’s eye, as these cases are very uncommon. These tumors – called limbal dermoids – are very rare & can contain tissue normally found on another part of the body, like sweat glands, cartilage or hair follicles, scientists say. This man had the tumor on his eye from birth & throughout the years it developed to be approximately a quarter of an inch in size. Limbal dermoids can cause vision deficiencies, such as astigmatism or blurred vision. They can be surgically removed, but the operation doesn’t result in better eyesight. 3 Man has 28lb lump removed from his intestines A 22-year-old man had months, “possibly even years” of feces trapped inside his intestines. When Crocodiles Attack
When Crocodiles attack! These reptiles are known for observing their prey. Let's take a look at some giant crocodile species in the wild. Support our Patreon today: https://www.patreon.com/theywillkillyou Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Follow us on Instagram: @theywillkillyou Voiceover by Carl Mason: [email protected] What Is It? These large semiaquatic reptiles are predators. The word ‘crocodile’ is derived from the Ancient Greek word for ‘lizard’ as early observations of these animals identified them as ‘lizards of the Nile’. There are currently around 13 crocodile species, the largest of which is the saltwater crocodile, which can grow to over 20 feet in length and weigh over 2,000 pounds. Crocodiles belong to the archosaur group, which means they’re related to dinosaurs, and 80 million years of evolution has only slightly changed their anatomy. These creatures own a set of features that make them perfectly adapted for achieving apex predator status. In the water, their streamlined bodies and strong tails enable them to swim swiftly while their webbed feet allow them to make sharp turns and sudden moves. Crocodiles have thick and rugged skin with Osteoderms. In addition to its acute senses, a crocodile’s nostrils, ears and eyes are placed atop its head, allowing it to stay almost completely submerged in the water. Number 5 Collin Miller A 21-year-old man went into a crocodile cage diving attraction at Victoria Falls, Zambia, after having drinks with his friends at a nearby brewery. Collin Miller jumped into the crocodile pool around 9 pm on February 29th, 2018. A worker and another man managed to drag him out of the pool. Where Is It Located? These cold-blooded creatures can’t generate their own heat and that’s why they have a preference for tropical climates. They can be found in tropical habitats in Africa, the Americas, Australia and Asia. They usually inhabit areas near wetlands, rivers or lakes and even saltwater regions. Crocodiles are hyper-carnivores. Since they can’t chew, they are known to swallow small stones that grind up food in their stomachs. Their slow metabolism enables them to go months without food. Crocodiles also display advanced cognitive abilities. To catch birds looking for nesting materials, crocodiles have been observed placing sticks on their snouts before becoming partially submerged. Number 4 John Bowman 90-year-old John Bowman and 65-year-old Rosemary Mitchell were paddling on an inflatable boat in Zimbabwe’s Matopos National Park on January 5, 2018. How? As they emerge from their stealthy position in the water, they unleash remarkably fast. The crocodile’s teeth aren’t built for shearing and chewing and its jaw muscle is stiff. A 17-foot saltwater crocodile has the strongest bite ever recorded with a force of 16,000 Newton, but this is said to increase for larger specimens. Number 3 Richard Shadwell In April 2012, 35-year-old Richard Shadwell was on a trip to Tanjung Puting national park in the Indonesian side of Borneo. Shadwell decided to dive into a river well known as a haven for crocodiles that can grow up to 20 feet in length. How? If you’re fascinated with crocodiles or wildlife in general, you might be familiar with the work of Steve Irwin. Through his series he achieved worldwide fame and inspired many with the passion and dedication he put into working with these animals. Even though most of us can’t engage crocodiles like Irwin did, there are a few things that can help you when you encounter them. Simply put, it’s easy to keep its mouth closed which could prove useful. If you’re in the water and have a free arm you can put it in the crocodile’s mouth and try to flip open the flap at the back of its mouth. Number 2 Lolong Lolong was a saltwater crocodile measuring 20 feet and weighing over 2,300 pounds. In November 2011 he was confirmed as the largest crocodile ever caught by Australian crocodile expert Dr. Adam Britton of National Geographic. He was suspected of eating a fisherman who went missing in the town of Bunawan, and also a 12-year-old girl. Number 1 Gustave Gustave is a large male Nile crocodile from Burundi. He was named by Patrice Faye, a herpetologist investigating him since the late 1990s. Gustave’s exact length and weight is unknown, but it’s believed that he may be 18 meters in length and more than 2,000 pounds. However, they didn’t succeed in catching Gustave and had to leave the country. The last reported sighting of Gustave was in June 2015, when he was allegedly seen by a resident dragging an adult bull buffalo on a riverbank.

The texture was thick & slimy & the flavor was rank. After shaking the contents of the can, DeNegri claimed that something resembling pink linguini came out. 6 Subway Sandwich In 2008, New Yorker John Agnesini made a startling discovery upon biting into his Subway Sandwich. Escobar Uncovered: Episode 1 - Meet Popeye
Meet Jhon Jairo Velásquez alias Popeye - Pablo’s Escobar’s right-hand man. A former member of Colombia’s Medellín cartel, he was recently released from prison & tells us all the truth behind it all in our brand new series Escobar Uncovered. This is the real Narcos! Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Follow us on Instagram: @theywillkillyou He goes by Popeye, but that’s just a nickname. His real name is Jhon Jairo Velasquez and he worked for Pablo Escobar’s. He’s now 55 years old and has traded in his former life with Pablo Escobar to become a YouTuber…and that was the grounds on why we decided to meet. He’s built up a bit of a celebrity following in his hometown of Medellin in Colombia. So after a couple of exchanges, he invited us to Colombia. That’s when I decided to grab my camera and get on a plane to Medellin. I was accompanied one of my closest friends Rene, who runs the YouTube channel World 5 List. We were really looking forward to seeing how the world looks through his eyes. For those who don’t know, Pablo Escobar was the wealthiest Colombian in history. He was the head of the Medellin Cartel, which was a Colombian group that supplied 80% of the products smuggled into the US, making over $20 billion a year. To give you an idea of how rich he was, Pablo spent over $2,500 a week in rubber bands alone just to hold together his stacks of cash. He even proposed to pay Colombia’s national debt of $20 billion as deal to prevent him from getting extradited to the US. His wealth was unimaginable, and his power was almost limitless. He told me he was gonna show us around Medellin and take us to some of the important historical spots like Pablo’s fincas, big meetup locations, and where some important events took place. He’d also show us how Pablo’s organization worked and would give us real, firsthand accounts of the biggest Colombian empire in history…not the overdramatized storytelling you see on Narcos, but instead debunking the myths and giving the truth behind it all. This was it: this was the real life Narcos. But we were also really interested in him. There we were, face-to-face with Pablo Escobar’s former employee. Powerful crime bosses rose up in rank and amassed HUGE fortunes from sending products: I’m talking about in the billions. In Medellin, one such person was Fernando Galeano. Although he was wanted in the government’s eyes, Pablo Escobar was seen as a sort of Robin Hood paisa among the ordinary people of Colombia. He donated considerable amounts of money to help poor neighborhoods by building hospitals, schools, parks, soccer fields, churches, and even creating jobs and full-on neighborhoods and homes for the poor people of Medellin and Colombia. Popeye showed me the video that was aired on Colombian national television when he was working for Pablo. Like most of his stories, for me, it seemed almost surreal—just out of this world. It was crazy to me about how straightforward and open he was because behind his warm smile lurked a cold, heartless. Leading up to the shoot, he was saying things like “Hey brother, you’re gonna love the stuff I’m about to show you. I’m gonna welcome you to Medellin with all the love and affection in the world. By the end of this shoot, we’ll be like brothers!” But while we were with him, it became pretty clear pretty fast how experienced he was. We were curious as to how Popeye got started in his journey. I mean, it’s not like a normal job that you apply for in response to a “help wanted” ad in the newspaper. There was also a lot of irony behind his beginnings too, as you’ll soon come to learn that the man that first inspired him to begin his career was the same man he was ordered to end later on in life. Unfortunately for Popeye, Pablo Escobar, and the Medellin Cartel, it was the endings of Fernando Galeano and Kiko Moncada that sparked the creation of a resistance group known as “Los Pepes,” short for "Perseguidos por Pablo Escobar,” meaning “Persecuted by Pablo Escobar." It was a vigilante group comprised of the rival gang from Colombia’s city of Cali known as the Cali Cartel as well as former Medellin Cartel members who broke away from Pablo’s organization to retaliate against him. Also joining the ranks of Los Pepes was the CIA and DEA, although these last two—being U.S. government agencies—will to this day deny their participation in any Los Pepes-related activities. For Pablo, this was the beginning of the end. Those same members who once associated themselves with the Medellin Cartel knew the ins and outs of Pablo’s organization, so THEY posed as the biggest threats with the most knowledge on how he ran his business like clockwork. And just as easily, they were able to topple it. Popeye was right by Pablo’s side this whole time. And there we had him: ready and willing to tell truth behind it all, and how the once-powerful Medellin Cartel eventually met its slow demise.

When Coyotes Attack
When coyotes attack! Here are numerous incidents of rabid coyotes attacking family dogs, humans & other creatures. Support our Patreon today: https://www.patreon.com/theywillkillyou Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Follow us on Instagram: @theywillkillyou Voiceover by Carl Mason: [email protected] As members of the Canidae family, coyotes share many features with close relatives like wolves, jackals, dogs and foxes. In fact, there has been a significant degree of hybridization throughout their evolutionary history. This is still present in the DNA of red and western wolves as well as eastern coyotes, the largest coyote species. These animals have lean bodies, thick fur and bushy tails. They also have yellow eyes and narrow, elongated snouts. Coyotes are about as large as a medium-sized dog, typically measuring over 3 to 4 feet from head to tail, with a weight of 20 to 50 pounds. 4 Natalia Petrellese In April, 2018, off-duty police officer Arcangelo Liberatore, his wife and their two young children were in a park in Thornwood, New York. Liberatore had finished his training for an upcoming fitness test and was relaxing with his family when they spotted a coyote entering the park. The animal made its way to the playground where it attacked 5-year-old Natalia Petrellese, biting her arm. The coyote then tried to drag her away. Liberatore quickly got his family to safety before turning back to help Natalia. Coyotes can be found in deserts, plains, forests and mountains, throughout North America, from Alaska, south through Mexico and into Central America. They vary in color and size depending on where they’re located. Coyotes living in mountain regions tend to have a darker coat than their dessert-dwelling counterparts. The largest subspecies live in eastern Canada and northeastern America. Coyotes are nocturnal predators and often hunt in pairs or packs to take down larger game. 3 Kelly Keen On August 26, 1981, as Cathy Keen was tending to some daily chores, she left her child in the living room of the family’s house in Glendale, California. Three-year-old Kelly Keen was watching children’s programs but at some point she let herself out the front door and stepped into the driveaway. It was then that she encountered an urban coyote. The animal took the toddler in its mouth and ran off, dragging her through the street. As previously mentioned, as coyotes move into areas populated by us the likelihood of attacks increases. In the US, between 1976 and 2006 there were at least 160 attacks and most of them took place in the LA County Area. Experts have confirmed that coyote attacks were the cause of at least two fatalities. As people intentionally or unintentionally feed these animals, their fear decreases and their predatory instincts begin to kick in. 2 Taylor Mitchell Taylor Mitchell was a rising star on the Canadian folk scene. She was also a nature lover and an environmentalist. On October 27, 2009, Mitchell decided to take a break between concerts and went on a hike in Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Later that day a group of hikers found Mitchell’s personal items, including keys and a small knife, along one of the trails. As they headed through a clearing at the end of the trail they found torn pieces of bloodied clothing and a large amount of blood on the ground. Among some trees, they discovered Mitchell lying on the ground with a coyote standing over her. 1 Andrew Dickehage In October 2013, Colorado resident Andrew Dickehage was walking to work when attacked by three coyotes. It was Monday, before sunrise, when 22-year-old Andrew heard rustling in the brush behind him. Shortly afterwards, three coyotes emerged and took turns lunging at him. As the animals were biting and clawing at his arms, neck and face, Dickehage fought back. He knew that running wasn’t an option but he didn’t want to be taken down either. Dickehage assumed a wide stance and began using his flashlight as a club. It was still dark out so he couldn’t really see where the next attack was coming from. As soon as he felt one of the coyotes on him, he would hit it with the flashlight. After several minutes the animals retreated back into the woods. Dickehage survived with multiple puncture wounds, but none of them were life-threatening.

7 Animals You'll Be Glad Are Extinct
7 extinct animals you'll be glad are extinct! From prehistoric creatures to scary predators, these dinosaurs & beasts are nightmarish. Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Voiceover by Rodney Tompkins: https://www.youtube.com/c/BigBadada2012 7: The Dire Wolf During the Pleistocene, the dire wolf also known as Canis dirus inhabited different areas around North and South America. Although the average dire wolf was similar in size to the larger specimens of present day’s grey wolf, its vicious bite was the strongest of any Canis species to date. Their teeth were also larger and featured a greater shearing ability. It is also believed that they used their bite to crush the bones of their prey and eat the marrow in order to extract the maximum nutritional capacity out of each kill. Based on the numerous specimens recovered from the La Brea 6: The Smilodon The smilodon is one of the best known species of what is commonly known as the saber-toothed cat. Smilodons inhabited regions in the Americas during the Pleistocene era, around 1.6 million to 10.000 years ago. Thousands of smilodon fossil specimens were discovered in the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles, US. Their most distinctive features were their canines which could grow as long as 12 inches for the Smilodon populator, the largest of the smilodon species. Their height was estimated 5: The Terror Bird The Phorusrhacidae also known as the terror birds were a type of large carnivorous flightless bird. It was the apex predator in the South American region, during the Cenozoic era. Terror birds ranged in height with the largest specimens standing almost 10 feet tall. They had large heads and powerful beaks but also great flexibility in their long necks. This enabled them to deliver devastating strikes on their prey. They would often use their height as a means of intimidation. Before delivering a downward attack 4: The Spinosaurus Similar to the T-Rex the Spinosaurus was also a theropod dinosaur meaning that it was a massive land carnivore. It lived during the Cretaceous period, approximately 112 to 97 million years ago, mainly in the swamps of North Africa. Its scientific name, which translates to ‘spine lizard’, reflects the dinosaur’s most distinctive feature. The Spinosaurus had tall neural spines growing on its back vertebrae which were connected to each other by skin to form what scientists have referred to as the ‘sail’. The sail’s function is still unclear. With its sail fully extended the Spinosaurus 3: The Titanoboa The titanoboa is the largest genus of snake ever discovered with an estimated weight of 2.500 pounds and a length of almost 50 feet. Upon its discovery it was believed that the titanoboa was an apex predator of the Palogene epoch inhabiting Earth’s tropical regions approximately 50-60 million years ago. However, later analysis indicated that the snake was mainly piscivorous, meaning that its diet consisted mostly of fish. When it would take on larger prey, the serpent would use its massive body to constrict its prey 2: The Tyrannosaurus Rex The name ‘Rex’ comes from Latin and translates as ‘king’. Considering the fact that the Tyrannosaurus Rex is one of the largest predators that have ever lived, the name does it justice. The T-Rex was one of the few non-avian dinosaurs that were still roaming the Earth, prior to the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event (K-Pg). The leading theory behind the K-Pg event is that a large asteroid brought about the mass extinction of approximately three quarters of all the plant and animal life on Earth. The largest complete T-Rex specimen is located at the Field Museum of Natural History, in Chicago and measures 40 feet in length and stands at 12 feet tall. Based on the bone structure it is estimated 1: The Megalodon The megalodon was one of the most dangerous predators in the sea during the Pliocene and Miocene epochs, around 23 to 2.6 million years ago. Based on the size of the discovered teeth and vertebrae, it was determined that the megalodon’s physical appearance resembled that of today’s great white shark. However, the megalodon was much larger. Based on the fossil evidence and body mass analysis which was done in comparison with that of the great white it was estimated that the length of the megalodon ranged from 55 to 60 meters in length with a weight between 50 and 75 tons. Scientists have not excluded the possibility of certain specimens exceeding these parameters. A 2008 computer simulation determined that the 10.8 to 18.2 ton bite force that this shark could produce was stronger than that of any other animal

11 Facts About the Ken & Barbie Bandits
Facts about the Ken & Barbie bandits! Here are 11 interesting things about the creepy couple, Karla Homolka & Paul Bernardo aka the Ken & Barbie Bandits. Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Follow us on Instagram: @theywillkillyou Voiceover by Carl Mason: [email protected] 11 Picture Perfect Façade On the surface, Bernardo & Homolka were the perfect couple. They met in October of 1987 & by December they were engaged. He was a college graduate working in sales & she was a veterinary technician with a passion for animals. Nobody could have suspected the secrets behind their idyllic façade. 10 Scarborough Between 1987 & 1990 Toronto’s Scarborough district: The typical people were women who traveled by bus, alone, late at night. The police created a task force of officers dressed in plainclothes who began surveilling bus stations. A man who corresponded to the description was spotted in May 1988. He managed to escape on foot but was later identified as Bernardo. A series of tips eventually lead police to him. The first came from one of Bernardo’s ex-girlfriends who had told a friend in law enforcement about his behavior. 9 Tammy Homolka Paul Bernardo had a thing for Karla Homolka’s younger sister Tammy Homolka. Homolka condoned & encouraged his fantasy. She watched Bernardo with her younger sister. Tammy remained unaware of what had happened to her in the months that followed. According to her testimony, she wanted to "give Tammy to Bernardo for Christmas". On the 23rd of December 1990, 6 months before their 1991 wedding, the couple videotaped themselves, while the parents were sleeping upstairs. 8 January Girl Shortly after Tammy Paul & Karla took another girl to the house while Karla’s parents were out of town & her other sister Lori was visiting her grandparents. The girl was later dropped off on a deserted road near Lake Gibson. The couple referred to her as ‘January Girl’. 7 Wedding Present Despite their upcoming wedding, the two began to drift apart after his bachelor trip to Florida where he become romantically interested in a nurse named Alice Worthington. Karla Homolka knew she had to save the relationship in the only way that would rekindle Bernardo’s interest. While working at a pet shop, she befriended a 15-year-old girl, identified only as Jane Doe. After a ‘girl’s night out’ the two went back to Bernardo’s house. Karla Homolka called Paul Bernardo to show him his surprise wedding present. 6 Discovery On The Couple’s Wedding Day On the 15th of June 1991, 14-year-old Leslie Mahaffy missed curfew after attending a friend’s wake & was locked out of her house. Bernardo spotted the teen as he was driving by. They videotaped themselves again. At one point during the tape Bernardo said “You're doing a good job, Leslie, a damned good job. The next two hours are going to determine what I do to you. Right now, you're scoring perfect.” 5 Last of the Schoolgirls Holy Thursday April 16, 1992: They noticed 15-year-old Kristen French walking towards her home nearby, as they were passing Holy Cross Secondary School. Homolka pretended to need assistance. French was sitting in the front seat of their car where Homolka controlled her from the back seat. 4 Homolka Sold Out Bernardo After a heated argument in January 1993, Homolka was brought to a hospital where she claimed that she had been in a car accident. Her co-workers, however, suspected something else. While she was in the hospital, the police reached out to her. At that time they had already identified Bernardo through DNA tests. 3 Hidden Tapes During her interviews with the police, Homolka insisted that her story would be confirmed once the tapes were found. The home that she had shared with Bernardo was searched for 71 days & over 100 tapes were found. After the police concluded their search, the property was visited by Bernardo’s team. 2 New Identity After details of the tapes were released to the press, many people were appalled by the fact that Karla Homolka would only serve 12 years for the part she played. Nevertheless, in spite of new evidence which didn’t fall into place with her early testimony, the sentence remained the same. During that time, she divorced Bernardo in February 1994, became romantically involved with someone else & earned a psychology degree. 1 Mad World Order Nevertheless, Bernardo became eligible for day parole in 2015, a type of conditional release where they are allowed to help with activities within the community. He was repeatedly denied day parole, but will be eligible for full parole in 2018. In November 2015 he wrote & self-published an e-book called ‘A MAD World Order’. In 2 weeks it was reportedly an Amazon best-seller. The 631-page work of fiction was later removed.

7 Most Haunted Places in the U.S.
Many of the most haunted places in the world are in America. Filled with the spooky, supernatural, & creepy, these really freaky locations & attractions will give you nightmares. View more scary, haunted photos today at http://theywillkillyou.com/10-haunting-images-real/ Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 From bone-chilling bloodstains to fear-inducing phantom sightings, these are the seven most haunted places in the U.S. Number 7: The Bird Cage Theatre From 1881 until 1889, the Bird Cage Theatre was used not only as a theatre, but also as a brothel & gambling parlor in Tombstone, Arizona. This was a place where miners occupying the town during the late 19th century's silver boom could gamble, buy beer & sex, & watch masquerade balls. The place had a legendary reputation for being a rowdy spot where fights would often break out. Bullet holes lined the walls of the building & it's believed that at least 26 people lost their lives here. It's also said to be haunted. To this day, the theatre operates as a tourist attraction, where workers & visitors alike have reported paranormal activity. Some claim to have seen the spirits of prostitutes & cowboys roaming the hallways while there are also rumors that sounds of a 19th century-style saloon party can still be heard some nights. On one occasion, a tourist found a $100 poker chip on one of the tables, something that had never been seen before. The manager then locked it in a safe with the plan of eventually showing it to experts. But when he later reopened the safe, however, the chip was gone. Another eerie instance involved Wyatt Earp, the sheriff famous for the O.K. Corral shootout. Wyatt Earp's statue once sat in the theatre box that he preferred when the theatre was fully operational. But curiously, every single morning for six months, his hat would be found in the middle of the floor. After consulting a historian, the theatre was told that the statue was in the wrong box. It was mistakenly placed in the box that the Clanton family frequented; the significance being that notorious outlaw Billy Clanton was an enemy of Earp's & was killed by the sheriff during the infamous O.K. Corral shootout. Clanton's ghost is said to be a visitor of the theatre & thus, was the one responsible for moving the hat. Number 6: The Biltmore Hotel Located in Greensboro, North Carolina, the Biltmore Hotel was erected in 1895 for textile manufacturer, Cone Mills, but was later renovated into a hotel. It also served as a brothel during the mid-20th century & still operates as a hotel to this day. But there have been frequently-reported encounters with ghosts here. Room 32, for example, is haunted by Philip. Philip worked as an accountant for Cone Mills back when the building served as the company's office. One day, his dead body was discovered in the alleyway surrounded by glass. People initially assumed he commit suicide. But when investigators turned the body over, they found that his throat had been slit. It was later uncovered that he had been embezzling money from the company & that his murder might have been retribution. The case was never solved, however, & his ghost is rumored to haunt room 32; the room that used to be his office & was the room where he was thrown out of. Patrons of the room claim to see a man standing near the window looking out. Some female guests have claimed the ghost has even hopped into bed with them! Room 23 is also said to be haunted. During its time as a brothel, a prostitute named Lydia worked at the Biltmore & always took her clients to room 23. She died there after she was pushed down the hotel's stairs. These days, patrons who stay in room 23 claim to see a red-headed woman in the room. She's also been known to take a disliking towards drunks. Hotel guests who've had too much to drink claim to have a tough time walking up the stairs, almost as if someone was pushing them down the very same stairs on which Lydia was murdered. Number 5: The Old Idaho State Penitentiary The Old Idaho State Penitentiary opened in 1872 & housed some of the worst criminals in the region for just over a century. By the 1930s, the prison garnered a reputation for being extremely violent. Famous criminals such as Lyda Southard & Harry Orchard were imprisoned here. Over the years, many riots erupted over the poor living conditions at the prison. In 1973, all the prisoners were moved to a newly built prison and “The Old Pen,” as it was known, eventually became a tourist attraction. According to the website Roadtrippers, people who visit The Old Pen experience odd, inexplicable phenomena. Some visitors, for example, claim they've been touched by unseen forces. The museum's employees say they hear wailing & screaming sounds when no one else is around; perhaps those of the inmates' ghosts. Number 4: The Villisca Axe Murder House June 10th, 1912: the Moore family & two friends are found dead in

After the family arrived at the New Trout Cave in West Virginia in 1990, they set off to explore. They’d carried a pack of supplies that included extra headlamps as well as food & water. After about 1,000 feet they reached a portion of the cave known as ‘The Maze’ which was full of tight spaces & jagged rocks. Lutes decided to leave the pack behind as he thought it would hinder their exploration & estimated that their head lamps would provide enough light until they could return to it. The boys’ lamps burned out after only a few minutes. They spent five days in complete darkness without any food or water. 5: Bungee Jumping While visiting Victoria Falls in southern Africa in 2012, Erin Langworthy decided to take her holiday experience one step further & signed up to do a bungee jump off the Victoria Falls Bridge. The morning before the jump, the 22-year-old had seen crocodiles near the banks of the Zambesi River. Nevertheless, she wasn’t worried. She plunged head first from a height of 354 feet. When she was about 130 feet from the river below, her bungee cord snapped. She crashed into the water, her feet still bound with about 100 feet of rope attached to them. An employee from the bungee company grabbed her & pulled her out of the water. 4: Snow The day after Thanksgiving 2006, James Kim, his wife Kati & their two daughters, Penelope & Sabine were heading towards a resort near Gold Beach, Oregon after they set off from Portland, Oregon. They missed a turnoff on their journey & decided to take what looked like a shortcut on their map. Soon they found themselves on a treacherous mountain road. After realizing that they could neither turn back nor forward, the family spent the night in their car. They awoke the next day & found themselves surrounded by deep snow. Several days later, on December 2, James Kim, wearing tennis shoes, light clothing & a jacket left his family, to look for help. He promised his wife to return that same day even if he hadn’t found anyone. He’d walked 16.2 miles from the car, & was only a mile away from Black Bear Lodge, which was closed but fully stocked with food & supplies at the time. 3: Sea Waif In November 1961, optometrist Dr. Arthur Duperrault chartered a yacht in the Bahamas, along with his wife Jean & his three children, 7-year-old Renee, 14-year-old Brian & Terry Jo, aged 11. The ship was called Bluebelle & pilot, Julian Harvey was its captain. Harvey had also decided to bring his wife Mary Dene, whom he married in July, along for the trip. The holiday would be the last the Duperrault family would ever take together. Terry Jo drifted for four days without food or water before she was found by a Greek freighter. A crewman took a picture of the girl as she floated on the water. It made front pages around the world followed by stories of the ‘sea waif’. 2: Taken By a Dingo On August 17, 1980, the Chamberlain family was on a camping trip at Ayer’s Rock in Australia’s Northern Territory. As darkness set in, Lindy Chamberlain placed Azaria, her nine-week-old daughter into the family’s tent. When the woman couldn’t find Azaria inside the tent. Everything indicated that the infant had indeed been taken by wild dogs. Nevertheless, the public as well as the authorities didn’t believe the scenario dictated by the findings & suspicion fell on the parents. Azaria’s jacket was found near a dingo lair, confirming the initial story. Lindy was pardoned. 1: Panama Jungle On March 15, 2014, Kris Kremers & Lisanne Froom arrived in Panama for a six-week holiday, shortly after their college graduation. After touring Panama for a couple of weeks, the two Dutch girls arrived in Boquete, on March 29. They were going to live with a local family for about a month while volunteering with the children. On April 1, Froon & Kremers went for a hike with their hosts’ dog near the clouded forests surrounding the Baru volcano. That night the dog returned home without the young women & the search for them began days later. On April 6, their parents arrived in Panama, along with dog units from the Netherlands. A full-scale search of the forests was conducted for ten days & their parents even offered a 30,000 USD reward. Sadly, the search didn’t produce any results.

She and Claude Daniel Marks landed a double spot on the Most Wanted List after purchasing something. What they didn’t know at the time was that their contact was actually an undercover agent. After discovering a monitoring device in their car, Marks and Willmott went underground along with their spouses. For years they lived several blocks from each other in Pittsburgh, under assumed identities. 9 Bernardine Dorhn In May 1970, the Weather Underground issued a ‘Declaration’. By 1970, Bernardine Dorhn was one of the group’s leaders. She was placed on the Most Wanted List after the Weathermen accidentally went to a townhouse in New York’s Greenwich Village, that same year. Dorhn went into hiding but was taken off the list three years later, after it emerged that they had been gathering information on members of the Weather Underground. 8 & 7 Katherine Ann Power and Susan Edith Saxe In 1970, Katherine Ann Power was a senior at Brandeis University. She and then roommate Susan Edith Saxe were active protesters against social constructs. When student-led protests were no longer enough for them, they decided to take a stand against the system. The three men were apprehended shortly after the bank incident while Saxe and Power went on the run and were placed on the Most Wanted List. 6 Angela Yvonne Davis An African-American high-school student Jonathan Jackson took over a Marin County courtroom in 1970. Davis became a wanted woman and then director J. Edgar Hoover, placed her on the Most Wanted List. When she was ultimately found in 1971, President Nixon congratulated the them for the apprehension. A nation-wide movement for her release was organized and supported by prominent artists such as John Lennon and Yoko Ono. In 1972, Davis was acquitted of all charges. 5 Ruth Eisemann-Schier On December 17, 1968, Ruth Eisemann-Schier helped Gary Steven Krist taking 20-year-old Barbara Jane Mackle. They took her from a motel room in Atlanta and put her in a box about a foot and a half underground. They supplied food, water, an air pump and a battery-powered lamp inside the box. Mackle’s father was a millionaire land developer in Florida with personal ties to president-elect Richard Nixon. In exchange, they told the authorities where they could find Mackle. A few months later, she was taken after applying for a nurse position in Oklahoma. Even though she’d used the alias Donna Sue Wills, a routine applicant fingerprint check gave her away. 4 Shanika Minor Tamecca Perry was pregnant and around five days from her due date, when she saw Shanika Minor. The following morning, however, Minor returned to the duplex and confronted Perry once again. After being placed on the Most Wanted list with a $100,000 reward, her time on the run was short lived. Minor was apprehended on July 1, 2016 and subsequently sentenced to 30 years in prison. 3 Shauntay L. Henderson 2 Marie Dean Arrington After Bob Pierce unsuccessfully worked for both of Marie Dean Arrington’s children, the woman sought revenge on him. She was sent to Marion County, Florida in 1968. Arrington was eventually found in New Orleans, working as a waitress. 1 Brenda Delgado After dating for two years, Dallas dermatologist Ricardo Paniagua and Brenda Delgado, a dental-hygienist student, ended their relationship. Paniagua then started seeing pediatric dentist Kendra Hatcher, which didn’t sit well with Delgado. Delgado reportedly hired a man Kristopher Love and getaway driver Crystal Cortes to whom she’d promised goods.

Her adult son Richard who tried stepping in also got injured, and had to call 911 for help. When rescuers arrived, the dogs were no longer aggressive, but the elderly woman was already drawing her final breaths. Richard who survived the attack, had no idea what prompted the pit bulls 9: Black Widow Spider When they entered the place, they found the corpse of Mark Voegel, the home owner, covered in cob webs, with hundreds of spiders crawling all over his body and in and out of his mouth, ears, and nose. In addition to the creepy crawlies, Mark's body was being snacked on by hungry snakes, termites, and a gecko 8: Red Deer Gerald Rushton had been raising a European red stag since it was a faun, along with other exotic animals in his property in Harrison County, Texas. He had been ignoring the advice of wildlife officials to get rid of the stag as it was an exotic animal unsuitable for domestication. In November 2010, as Gerald entered the stag's pen 7: Domestic Hog In September 2012, Terry Vance Garner, an elderly farmer went to feed his herd of hogs on his Oregon Ranch. The man never returned. When family members went looking for him, they were shocked to find bits and pieces of his body scattered throughout 6: Hippopotamus Years ago, a baby hippo was saved from a flood in South Africa. Marius Els, an army major, then bought the hippo at the age of five months after it grew too big for the people who first took it in. Named Humphrey, the creature would grow into a 1 ton adult hippo on Marius' 400 acre farm in Free State province. Marius 5: Black Bear Michael Walz was a dealer of exotic pets who had been keeping wild animals in his home without a valid permit. His wide collection included a lion, jaguar, tiger, and a black bear, all looked after by Michael himself and his wife Kelly. In October 2009, Kelly Walz entered the black bear's steel cage. She distracted the 350 pound creature with some food she tossed at one end, and went to clean 4: Burmese Python Snake In 1996, two Bronx teenage brothers named Grant and Lamar Williams bought a Burmese python for 300 dollars at a local pet store, thinking to make a career in herpetology - or the study and care of reptiles. They kept it caged in their bedroom, often showing it off to friends. One day the 19 year old Grant Williams prepared to feed his 44 pound snake with live chicken he just bought 3: Camel This case itself is unusually disturbing for this list. Unlike the other murderous animals mentioned, this animal killed his owner by trying to have sex with her. Pam Weaver, an exotic pet lover from Australia was given a camel by her husband for her 60th birthday. The ten month old camel showed signs of erratic behavior early on, having tried to mate with other animal species in the family's sheep 2: Siberian Tiger As chairman of the Canadian Exotic Animal Owner's Association, Norman Buwalda was a big advocate for keeping wild animals as pets. The man had 5 wild cats he kept on his property in Ontario, including a tiger, lion, and a cougar. World's Deadliest Octopus!
Despite its size, the blue-ringed octopus bite can kill 26 adult humans within minutes, with no known antivenom available. Pay attention, because we'll show you how to survive an attack. What is it? The blue-ringed octopus, or genus Hapalochlaena, is a tiny sea creature ranging from only 5 to 8 inches long when their arms are fully extended. At full maturity, their bodies are about as big as a golf ball. They're characterized by yellowish skin with 50-60 blue rings covering their bodies. Despite their small size, they're extremely dangerous to humans. Where are they located? Blue-ringed octopuses are found in the Pacific & Indian Oceans, from Japan all the way down to Australia. They reside in shallow, sandy areas such as tide pools and coral reefs. How will it kill you? The blue-ringed octopus releases an extremely deadly neurotoxin into your system called tetrodotoxin, the same venom that's found in poison dart frogs. You don't even have to be bit for the venom to enter your bloodstream, as it can pass directly through your skin from prolonged contact with the octopus. When it's becomes aggravated, the blue-ringed octopus will start changing colors. Tetrodotoxin from an octopus kills primarily through paralysis, and the onset of its symptoms will appear within minutes. Victims will first experience motor paralysis and respiratory arrest, followed by death due to cardiac arrest caused by a lack of oxygen to the brain. How to survive: The tetrodotoxin from a blue-ringed octopus often causes severe or total paralysis within minutes of exposure. Therefore it's extremely important to provide artificial respiration immediately through the use of CPR or a bag valve mask, since the victim will shortly be unable to breathe on their own. Once a professional medical team arrives, they will be placed on a medical ventilator until the toxin is completely removed from their body. Those who survive the first 24 hours usually manage to make a full recovery. So which character in the 1983 James Bond film "Octopussy" has a blue-ringed octopus tattoo? Magda, who seduced Bond in the film, has a blue-ringed octopus tattoo that symbolizes her alliance with Octopussy's Octopus Cult. So would you rather…be bit by a blue-ringed octopus? Or be infected with the bubonic plague?

8 Shocking Cases of Modern Day Piracy
8 shocking cases of modern day piracy. You won’t believe how dangerous today’s pirates are! Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 8: The Seabourn Spirit attack Ever since the Somali Civil War entered its second phase in the beginning of the 21st Century, pirate activities off the coast of Somalia have been a threat to international shipping. It initially began when groups of Somali fishermen armed themselves to fend off foreign boats that illegally fished and dumped toxic waste in their waters. But the fishermen eventually turned to hijacking ships in order to steal goods and demanding ransom money as a source of income. In November 2005, Bahamian cruise liner Seabourn 7: The MS Melody attack As pirate attacks become more common, there have been calls for commercial ships to carry firearms. However, this would result in another problem as such ships are not allowed to dock at non-military ports. Some operators resort to hiring private security companies who board the ship as it reaches dangerous waters and leave once the threat has passed. In April 2009, the attack on MS Melody became the first case in which a pirate attack was thwarted by an armed private security team. The Italian ship was carrying 1500 passengers on a cruise from Durban, South Africa 6: The Inabukwa Hijacking Indonesian waters, alongside the Malacca and Singapore straits are among the busiest sea lanes in the world. For centuries, the Southeast Asian sea route has been essential for trade between the Far East and the rest of the world. With so much traffic and valuable cargo, it's not surprising that the area has a long history of being a pirate hotspot, a tradition which still continues to this day. In March 2001, Indonesian cargo ship Inabukwa was sailing through Indonesian waters with nearly 2 million dollars worth of tin ingots, zinc and white pepper. Suddenly a group of pirates armed with guns and knives stormed the vessel and forced the entire crew 5: Sir Peter Blake's Murder Peter Blake is one of the greatest yachtsmen the world has ever known, having won multiple medals and awards in the sport, and broke the fastest around-the-world sailing record in 1994. Blake's accomplishments earned him a knighthood, and he is regarded as a national hero in his country New Zealand. Sadly, he didn’t live a long life. In December 2001, at the age of 53, he was shot and killed by pirates on his yacht during an expedition on the Amazon River. Blake was on an environmental expedition in Brazil to monitor the effects of global warming and pollution for the UN 4: Judith Tebbutt's Kidnapping This case is rather unique in this list as Judith Tebutt and her husband David fell victim to piracy while they were on land. In September 2011, the British couple was on a fortnight's holiday in a luxury beach lodge on the shores of Kenya. They were the only ones staying in the place when it was raided one night by Somali pirates. After being forcefully awakened from her sleep, Judith 3: The MS Achille Lauro Hijacking Throughout the 70s and 80s, Palestinian armed militants had a reputation for hijacking commercial airplanes as part of their fight against Israel. However, their attacks are not limited towards aircrafts, as shown in the hijacking of the MS Achille Lauro in 1985. While most consider this an act of terrorism, we could also call it an act of piracy as it involved hijacking a ship at sea. As the Italian liner was sailing from Alexandria, Egypt, towards Ashdod, Israel, four Palestine Liberation Front (PLF) militants carrying machine 2: The SY Quest incident In February 2011, four Americans on vacation were sailing round the world aboard their yacht, the SY Quest. Unfortunately their fun ended when they were stormed by 19 Somali pirates while sailing 200 miles off the coast of Oman. With the four Americans as hostage, the pirates directed the yacht towards Somalia. In response, the US Navy dispatched several warships, including a guided missile destroyer to deal with the situation. They intercepted the pirates in the Indian Ocean a few days later, and two of the pirates were brought aboard one of the Navy ships to negotiate. The pirates were offered to take the yacht 1: The Maersk Alabama hijacking The hijacking of the MV Maersk Alabama in April 2009 is probably one of the most well known cases of modern day piracy due to all the international attention it drew at the time. Originating from Oman, the merchant vessel was bound for Kenya when it was raided by Somali pirates in a speedboat. Despite defensive measures taken by the American crew who had undergone anti-piracy training, four pirates managed to get on board. Still, the crew refused to give in. They managed to shut down the ship to prevent the pirates from controlling it, and locked themselves to safety in a secure room. Some crewmen actively resisted the invaders, and even managed to capture and tie up one of the pirates. Unfortunately, Captain Richard Phillips who commanded the ship

5 Most Disastrous Shipwrecks in History
Here are the worst & most famous ship wreck disasters. These shipwrecked boats & ships have caused some of the worst historic tragedies in the history of sailing. This incident holds the distinction of the deadliest maritime disaster in U.S. history. However, since it happened at the tail-end of the Civil War & was overshadowed by the recent assassination of Abraham Lincoln, the event is often forgotten in the annals of American history. The Sultana was just two years old when she was making her fateful trek from St. Louis to New Orleans. Although she was meant to carry only 376 passengers, she was carrying over 2,000 people on this particular journey as the ship's captain, J. Cass Mason, was hoping to receive bribes for returning the prisoners of war back north. During the journey, however, one of the ship’s boilers sprang a leak. It therefore pulled into the harbor of Vicksburg, Mississippi in order to undergo repairs. Mason was told that in order to properly fix the boiler it would need to replaced; an undertaking which would last a few days. The captain knew that if that were the case, the soldiers would be sent home on different boats, costing him thousands of dollars in potential revenue. So instead, Captain Mason decided to have the boiler only partially repaired in order to finish the journey as soon as possible. Because it was already severely overloaded, the Sultana caught fire during the early morning hours of April 27th when the damaged boiler exploded. The explosion hurled many of the crew & passengers into the water, while parts of the deck collapsed & caught fire in the furnace below. Its passengers—many of whom were soldiers already weakened from their time in prison camps—tried escaping into the water, but soon found it hard to swim against the current. Thus, many of them died from either drowning or from hypothermia. Also included in the long list of deaths was Captain Mason himself. 4: The Doña Paz & Vector Collision December 20th, 1987: one of the deadliest maritime disasters in history occurs when the passenger ferry Doña Paz collides with the oil tanker, Vector, near the Philippines's capital city of Manila. Of the estimated 4,386 people on board, only 26 survived. The Doña Paz was only supposed to hold 1,500 people. But for reasons that still remain unclear, it was carrying over 4,000 passengers & crew members on that particular voyage, many of whom were not registered passengers. Furthermore, the ship did not have nearly enough life jackets for everyone aboard, & the ones they did have were locked away. Reports also show that the Doña Paz did not have any radios to communicate with the coast guard or with nearby ships in the case of an emergency. Additionally, the Vector was also said to be unfit for the sea, as it had no license or experienced captain on board. It was carrying over 8,000 barrels of oil when it collided with the Doña Paz. Based on survivors' testimonies, the crash caused pandemonium on both vessels as neither were prepared to handle an emergency. Most of the Doña Paz's crew was said to be drinking beer in their recreation cabin while the captain was supposedly watching a movie in his own cabin. To make matters worse, the crash started a fire on board the Vector that quickly spread to the Doña Paz. Even the water near the ships ignited in flames as thousands of gallons of oil poured into the sea. As the Doña Paz's crew panicked, passengers tried escaping into the fiery waters, which were also known to be shark infested. It took 16 hours before a rescue mission could be organized & in the end, more than 4,000 people lost their lives. 3: The PS General Slocum From 1891 until her ultimate demise in 1904, the PS General Slocum was known for her frequent mishaps. Within her first month of voyages, she ran aground & had to be rescued by tugboats. In 1894 alone she was grounded on three separate occasions. Then in 1901, she collided with another ship. But on June 15th, 1904, the PS General Slocum caught fire & sank in New York City’s East River, killing just over 1,000 people. The ordeal stands as the worst maritime disaster in New York City's history & was the city’s deadliest event up until the September 11th terrorist attacks of 2001. For most of her existence, the ship served as a passenger boat, taking people on excursions all around New York. Its last tour saw a fire start in the lamp room of the ship, which contained oily rags & straw that spread the flames around quickly. The ship’s captain, Van Schaick, became aware of the fire

13 Scariest Prehistoric Animals
Scariest prehistoric animals! From huge dinosaur species to scary sea creatures. These are terrifying extinct creatures that actually existed. Support our Patreon today: https://www.patreon.com/theywillkillyou Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Follow us on Instagram: @theywillkillyou 13 Megatherium It’s fairly hard to imagine the present day sloth, with its slow & lazy demeanor, as a scary creature. However, its Pleistocene ancestor, the Megatherium, didn’t look so cute. In addition to being roughly the same size as a modern day elephant, it had large claws & scientific evidence suggests that it was even capable of bipedal locomotion. 12 Azhdarchid Once believed to be a species of winged dinosaur, this prehistoric animal was in fact closer related to the gigantic marine creatures that lived around the same time, during the Cretaceous Period. The Azhdarchid was a species of large flying reptiles known as Pterosaurs. 11 Therizinosaurus The feature that makes the Therizinosaurus so scary is not its massive size of 33 feet in length & up to five tons in weight but the enormous claws on each of the three digits on its front limbs. They are believed to have reached 3.3 feet in length, making them the largest claws of any known animal. 10 Daeodon With a massive head that could grow up to 3 feet in length, strong neck muscles & a large bulky body, the Daeodon was the last & largest of the entelodonts, an extinct family of pig-like omnivores. These creatures roamed the Earth approximately 37 million years ago & stood as high as 6.5 feet at the shoulder with slender hooved legs that were built for speed. They had full sets of teeth which included molars, heavy incisors & large canines. 9 Meganeura An ancestor of the modern-day dragonfly, the Meganeura is one of the largest known flying insects. It had a body length of approximately one foot & a wingspan that measured around 26 inches. It is believed that the Meganeura was carnivorous & predatory, feeding on other insects, amphibians & small invertebrates. 8 Jaekelopterus This terrifying creature was the top predator of the waters it inhabited. The Jaekelopterus is currently the largest arthropod ever discovered with a total length that exceeded eight feet, making it larger than a fully grown human. Also known as ‘the giant sea scorpion’ this alien-looking creature had a segmented body with multiple specialized limbs, some of which featured spikes. 7 Dunkleosteus Today our oceans are home to many scary creatures, but around 360 million years ago, when the Dunkleosteus swam their waters, the situation was much different. One component that added to the reputation of the Dunkleosteus was its sheer size. The Dunkleosteus terrelli, the largest of the species, measured up to 30 feet in length & weighed over a tone. 6 Megalania Even though Komodo dragons are currently the biggest lizards on the planet, they still pale in comparison to their prehistoric ancestor, the Megalania, considered the largest terrestrial lizards ever discovered. Also known as ‘The Giant Ripper Lizard’ this beast inhabited southern Australia during the Pleistocene. 5 Gigantopithecus Yeti, Sasquatch & other mythical ape-like creatures would most likely pale in comparison to the Gigantopithecus. This genus of ape is believed to have existed as recently as one hundred thousand years ago in the area that is now India, China & Vietnam. It same geographical location & the same time frame as several hominin species. 4 Livyatan melvillei Its name was inspired by a biblical monster & by Herman Melville, the author of ‘Moby Dick’, a novel about a giant whale. When considering the etymology of its name, it’s not hard to imagine what Livyatan melvillei might have looked like. It was similar in size to a modern day sperm whale, measuring up to a staggering 57 feet in length, with an average skull size of 9.8 feet. 3 Liopleurodon An apex predator of the Middle to Late Jurassic Period this marine reptile weighed as much as 3,700 pounds & measured up to 23 feet. Despite their enormous proportions, these creatures were good swimmers, using a four-flipper propulsion mode typical of the Plesiosauria order that they belonged to. 2 Sarcosuchus Because of its long body & scaly appearance the Sarcosuchus bore a resemblance to the modern day crocodile. Nicknamed SuperCroc, this animal was not actually a crocodile but had many of the same terrifying features. These included muscular tails, powerful jaws & muscles, sharp teeth & plates, known as osteoderms that covered the creature’s body from head to tail. 1 Arthropleura Many people are terrified of insects & bugs especially of those larger in size. However, none of the creepy-crawlers that are around today can compare to the creatures that lived around 300 million years ago that belonged to that Arthropleura genus. They are the largest known land invertebrates ever discovered.

Patient Zero Victims
As soon as an illness breaks out, it’s just a matter of time until it spreads. Here we present to you patient zero victims of the most dangerous epidemics in the world. Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Voiceover by Rodney Tompkins: https://www.youtube.com/c/BigBadada2012 9: Gaetan Dugas The term "patient zero" originated from Gaeten Dugas, a man who for years was believed to be the man who brought HIV to the US. Dugas was a flight attendant working for Air Canada, and was diagnosed with AIDS in the early 80s. The disease was first clinically observed among the gay community in the US in 1981 8: Typhoid Mary Typhoid fever is a nasty bacterial disease spread by the digestion of food and water contaminated with an infected person's feces or urine. Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, and a terrible rash. However, there are those who exhibit no symptoms at all. These people, called carriers, are more of a threat as they could unknowingly and unsuspectingly spread the disease to others. The most famous of Typhoid carriers is Mary Mallon. Mary was originally from Ireland, and worked as a cook for wealthy families in New York City after immigrating to the US. It was the early 20th Century, and Typhoid was mainly a problem in poor communities 7: Haitian Cholera Patient Zero The 2010 Haiti earthquake was a disaster of epic proportions, resulting in the death of over 100,000 civilians and billions of dollars in damages to the already poverty stricken country. The Haitians terrible misfortune seemed to know no end, as a terrible cholera outbreak immediately followed the earthquake. Almost undoubtedly, researchers claim the first person to contract the illness was a 28 year old mentally ill man from the town of Mirebalai. The man who was known as the village's "crazy person" 6: Mabalo Lokela Ebola is one of the worst infectious diseases of this century. For the past few years the disease has devastated West Africa, and caused waves of panic across the world with several cases occurring outside the African continent. Ebola still has no cure or vaccine, and thousands of infected individuals have died suffering massive internal hemorrhage. The disease is named after the Ebola River, which flows near a small village named Yambuku 5: Dr. Liu Jianlin Severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS, starts like a typical flu but would rapidly develop into a critical case of pneumonia and eventually death from respiratory failure. We might not hear of any more cases of SARS today, but the viral disease was seen as a serious threat to the global population in 2003, with a total of 774 reported deaths in 37 countries. The disease was first identified in Guangdong, in southern China, and the local government 4: Edgar Enrique Hernandez In the remote village of La Gloria in Mexico, stands a bronze statue of a smiling five year old boy. The subject is a real life boy named Edgar Enrique Hernandez, also known as Nino Cero or Kid Zero, survivor and first person recognized to have contracted the infamous new strain of H1N1 virus known as swine flu. The disease spread wide in 2009, causing a worldwide influenza pandemic that killed over 14,000 people. It all started in early 2009 3: Emile Ouamouno In December 2013, a two year old Guinean village boy named Emile Oumono suddenly got seriously ill, and died four days later. His other family members followed suit, starting by his older sister, then their pregnant mother, then grandmother, and then a number of villagers. Researchers now believe that that village deep in the forests of Guinea was the source of the Ebola virus epidemic 2: Private Albert Gitchell Nearly everyone knows of how terrible World War 1 was - a futile war that killed 17 million people and caused millions more to suffer.
