How to disconnect all connections on sql server database |kill all connections |disconnect all users

03:06
use master ALTER DATABASE YourDatabase SET SINGLE_USER WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE --do you stuff here ALTER DATABASE YourDatabase SET MULTI_USER This video is about killing or disconnect all connections to a database. The easiest way is bringing the database to single user mode and set it back to multiuser mode. This will disconnect all connections form all the users other than current one who is logged to the database. One important aspect here is, do not close the screen once you set the database to single user mode. Because when a database is in single user mode it will allow only a single connection to the database. If you allow dropping your connection and if any other connects to the database you will not be able to connect the database again. So you may have to Stop the SQL server and start again to connect the database. It is also possible to do this using SQL management studio. Right click on the database, go to properties, go to options and move to restrict access option. There you can select the single user mode or multiple user mode. Now The question is why do you need to do this. I mean when, do you want to kill all connections. It is mainly, when you want to have exclusive access to the database. For example a database is not allowing you to restore a backup on this because you cannot grant the exclusive access, then you can bring the database to single user mode; killing all connections; perform your activates and after that set it to the multi user mode. This way you can maintain the exclusive access while you are completing the work.

I'm always looking for new video ideas. Let me know what video you'd like for me to create. --- Video Transcript Time - 00:00 Hello. In this tutorial, you will learn how to connect to a MySQL database with Java. In this session we’re going to learn how to connect a MySQL database with Java. Before we get started there are some prep work that needs to take place. One is that you need to have a MySQL database already installed. If not, you can download one from the site listed here on the slide. Time - 00:20 Next, we’ll need to download and install a MySQL JDBC driver. This driver will allow the Java program to connect to the database. You can download it from this URL, and I’ll do that now. I’ll just take this URL, drop it into my favorite browser and here I am at the page. I’m on this page, this is for downloading the Connector/J browser. I’ll select the platform, platform independent. Now move down and I’ll select download and it will download a zip archive. Make sure you download the most recent version. In this case it’s 5.1.29. Make sure you download something at that version or later. Time - 01:04 Download, scroll down, select, “No thanks, just start my download.” This will start downloading the file for you. Now what we can do is show it in the finder. I’ll double click it to extract it. At this point I have the driver extracted. There’s a file in here called MySQL connector.jar that we’ll use later. Time - 01:34 Next, what I need to do is create a Java project in Eclipse. Let’s do that. On Eclipse I’ll say I’ll save file, new, Java project. This will be JDBC demo and I will select finish. What I’ll do is I will add a new class. New, class, this will be my driver and it will have a public static void main region. At this point we have a shell for our project created. Time - 02:28 Next, what we’ll do is we will talk to the actual development process and I really like this slide because it outlines exactly what we need to do. The first thing we’ll do is add the database driver to the classpath. Next, we’ll get a connection, we’ll submit a SQL query and then we’ll process the result set. Time - 02:48 Let’s start with step one, adding a MySQL database driver to the classpath. In our Eclipse project I’m going to add a new folder called lib, lib for library. In this lib folder I’m going to add the driver that I downloaded earlier. What I’ll do is I’ll just grab this driver. It’s the MySQL connector bin.jar and I’ll just drag and drop it to this lib folder. It will prompt me and I’ll say go ahead and copy the file. Time - 03:25 Next, I need to add the jar file, the driver to the classpath. I’ve set this up with properties, choose Java build path and then I’ll choose add jars. Expand this folder, that lib, I’ll grab that jar file and I’ll have it setup. Great. Time - 03:51 Now we can start coding. We need to get a connection, submit a SQL query and process a result set. Let me just sketch this out on a slide over here. The first thing I’ll do up top is I’ll just do an import on java.sql.* because all of the classes and interfaces that we need are in this package. Time - 04:17 I’ll also just setup a try catch block just to handle for any exception that may occur. Small typo there. Time - 04:40 Inside of this section I’m going to first get a connection to database. Then next I will create a statement. Then from here I will execute a SQL query and then I will process the result set. Time - 05:16 That’s my basic game plan, let’s fill it in with some real code. Here I’ll say connection, myConn = DriverManager.getConnection. I’ll give the jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/demo student, student. Student is the user ID and student is also the password. How To Fix "Access Denied" Error In Command Prompt

09:29
In this video is show you how to fix the Access Denied error while executing commands through command prompt. This occurs because the user does not have permission on the cmd.exe file to allow changes to be made. Another problem we face is UAC (User access control) is turned on by default, which prevents the user from making changes that could harm a system. These occur even though you are running an administrator account. PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR ISSUES THAT MAY OCCUR, THIS IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY Now onto the fix 1) we are going to turn off UAC. start, control panel, search bar at top right, type uac, and its the first option. click on it and drag the bar all the way to the bottom so it is off. 2)were going to change the owner of the file as you have to be the owner to make changes to permissions. to do this we are going to hold the start button (on your keyboard+r) and type c:\windows\system32 in the run dialog box. When system32 folder opens, type cmd and click the cmd.exe file at the top. now right click, properties, security, advanced, and at the top where it displays owner, click change and type in your username, and click Ok. 3)Next were going to set the permissions to allow you to make changes. right click cmd.exe again and click properties, security, edit, add (your username). Click full control box and click apply. 4) finally exit out of the cmd properties, right click the cmd.exe file and click run as administrator. In your command prompt, type you command that wasnt working originally, and BINGO thanks for watching dont forget to like comment and subscribe below for more great videos

Set Up a new Connection in Oracle SQL Developer

02:23
https://www.databasestar.com/introduction-oracle-sql-course/ In this video, I’ll show you how to set up a connection in SQL Developer. SQL Developer is Oracle’s free IDE for working with your SQL database. It’s one of the best tools available, and used by a lot of people. As part of my Introduction to Oracle SQL series of videos, I use SQL Developer to set up the data and explain the concepts. The first step once you have downloaded the application is to set up a connection. What is a connection? A connection in SQL Developer lets you connect to a database. You enter in a set of data once for your database, and SQL Developer remembers this and lets you connect to the database. You provide the following data: - Connection name - Username - Password - Server details (e.g. server, port, SID) The connection can have a name to help you remember it in the future. Connections can also be colour coded to make it easier to see which connection you’re working on! So, to find out how to set up a connection in SQL Developer, watch this video! Let me know in the comments if you have any questions.

How To Kill All Database Processes On SQL Server

06:42
SQl management studio provides lot of facilities to manage SQL processes. The “Activity monitor screen” which will show you some very useful and important information about SQL processes. It will show you all active processes, there status, number of open transactions for each process, the application by which the process is generated, Wait time CPU and memory utilisation, and the host name, means the host or the machine by which the process is initiated etc. If a process is hanging, it will show the process icon with an hour glass. Refresh it several times, sometimes the icon will turn to sleep mode if the process completes its execution. If the icon remains an hour glass, the process may be hanging. Use other info as well to decide if the process is really hanging. If you double click on the process ID it will show the SQL stamen subjected to the execution of the process. If a process is hanging you can identify which application has originated the process, which SQL stamen is hanging and even more from which machine or the host the process is initiated If some application users are complaining about uneven slowness, uneven timeouts etcetera, the reason behind may be one or more processors are hanging. What can you do now? You can restart the SQL server or the service which will disconnect all databases and all applications disturbing all the users. Or otherwise you can take the database to off line and bring it back to online. Or you can disconnect all connections to the database. The disturbance may be lesser than the previous case but still lot of applications and users can be disturbed, especially in an industrial setup. And still you do not know the real reason for the slowness or the malfunctioning as well. So what can you do? Go and examine the processors. Identify exactly which process is hanging. And most probably you will be identifying how and why. So you can find permanent solution. But the immediate solution is you can kill the troubling process or the few. It will solve the issue with minimum disturbance immediately. After identifying the correct process, you can right click on the process ID and click on ‘Kill process’ button. It will kill the selected process. You can kill processors using SQL statements and, using SQL commands you can kill all processors at once as well. Code for Killing Processes Individually USE master go DECLARE @dbname sysname SET @dbname = 'YourDB' EXECUTE ('KILL 53') Code for killing all Processes USE master go DECLARE @dbname sysname SET @dbname = 'YourDB' DECLARE @spid int SELECT @spid = min(spid) from master.dbo.sysprocesses where dbid = db_id(@dbname) WHILE @spid IS NOT NULL BEGIN EXECUTE ('KILL ' + @spid) SELECT @spid = min(spid) from master.dbo.sysprocesses where dbid = db_id(@dbname) AND spid @spid END

CredSSP Encryption Oracle Remediation Error in Windows 10 (SOLVED)

03:15
Fix CredSSP Encryption Oracle Remediation Error In Windows 10: https://techempty.org/?p=708 Those of you who may have installed the security updates on Windows 10 workstations recently in the past few days may notice that you receive a strange error when trying to establish a remote desktop connection to a server that worked before like An Authentication error has occurred. The function requested is not supported. CredSSP Encryption Oracle Remediation Error after updating the Windows 10 computer. And here is the fix showing you on how to rectify CredSSP Encryption Oracle Remediation Error by following these two simple methods. Basically, the reason behind this error is, when you try to connect to the client whose Windows machine is outdated, you may get this CredSSP Encryption Oracle Remediation Error. When both the clients are up to date, then you won’t get any kind of error. Now let’s take a look at Windows 10 RDP CredSSP encryption oracle remediation error fix. The first one. Search for ‘Edit Group Policy’ and then open it. Now under the ‘Computer Configuration’, expand the ‘Administrative Tools’ then ‘System’ then ‘Credentials Delegation’ and here find ‘Encryption Oracle Remediation’. Right click on it then choose ‘Edit’ and now here Enable Encryption Oracle Remediation then change the protection level to ‘Vulnerable.’ Finally, Apply the changes then click on Ok. Here is how you can fix CredSSP Encryption Oracle Remediation Error In Windows 10. Second method is for the one who doesn’t have Group Policy editor or can’t find the Encryption Oracle Remediation within Group Policy editor. Search for ‘regedit’ to open the registry editor. Now expand ‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE’ then ‘Software’ then ‘Microsoft’ then ‘Windows’ then ‘CurrentVersion’ then ‘Policies’ then ‘System’. Now you need to create a new key. So, right click on the System folder then choose ‘New Key’ and name it as CredSSP. Again create another ‘Key’ within CredSSP with the name ‘Parameters’. Inside the Parameters, you need to create a new DWORD value and name it as ‘AllowEncryptionOracle’. Finally change the DWORD value to 2 and Base to ‘Decimal.’ Save all the settings then try to connect to the RDP client. Remove Junk Files to Cleanup Your Windows 10 Computer

05:22
Remove Junk Files to Cleanup Your Windows 10 Computer Firstly, let’s delete the Windows update data. To do that, open C drive, then Windows, then Software Distribution and here choose Download. We have around 1 gig of Windows update data and we don’t need it. If the system needs any file, it will be downloaded again. So no issues. Let me delete everything here in this downloads folder to remove junk files to cleanup the Windows 10 computer. So now the second one. Let’s delete the temporary & prefetch files. To do that, open Run by right-clicking on the #Windows icon and here choose ‘Run’. In here type %temp% and choose ok. Now you will see all the temporary files and delete them all by saving any of the work that you are currently doing with any of the applications. Again open Run by right-clicking on the Windows icon and now just type temp. This is another location where the temp files are stored. Just, delete them all to clean up the temp location. Now we’re going to delete the prefetch files. To do that, open Run dialogue box by typing Windows + R keys together and type prefetch. Select all the files and folders here then proceed to delete them. This is how you remove junk files to clean up your #Windows10 computer. Now, the third one. If you have any issues with the Windows store then just do this thing without changing account settings or deleting installed apps. By opening the Run dialogue box, type wsreset and hit ok. Now you will see the command prompt with a blank screen. You need to wait for a few seconds to complete the reset process. Once done, you will get the Windows store on the console. The fourth one is clearing the browsing history of #Microsoft edge and chrome as I have them. You can try clearing the browsing history of all the browsers that you have. So, now going with Edge browser, Open it and choose these three dots right here and choose settings. Now at the center, click on ‘Choose what to clear’ under ‘clear browsing data’. Tick what you want to delete and choose ‘clear’. Alternatively, you can opt to ‘Always clear this when I close the browser’ option if you wish to clear browsing data regularly to remove junk files to cleanup your windows 10 computer. If you are using #Chrome browser, do these steps to delete the browsing history. Open chrome and choose these three dots to expand the available options. From the menu, choose ‘More Tools’ then ‘Clear browsing data’. You will get a window with basic options. Navigate to the ‘Advanced’ tab and choose the time range, what things you would like to clear etc and click on ‘clear data’. That’s it. The fifth one is to clear the DNS cache. If you have any internet connectivity issues you can run this command to flush the DNS cache. To do that, search for cmd and right click on it to run the command prompt as an administrator. Now here type the following command. ipconfig/flushdns and it will instantly clear the DNS cache for you. The sixth one is to clean up the disk. To do this search for Disk cleanup and open it. Choose the disk you would like to clean up and here I’m choosing the C drive. Now choose the files that you would like to clean up and select ok. It will then clean up the junk files that are in C drive. The seventh one is to free up the space using a restore point. To do that, search for restore point and then open it. Once you have the system restore point window, choose the C drive and choose ‘configure’ to look for the space that was occupied at restore point. Now I have around 2 gigs here and you just need to delete it by choosing delete and press ok. Now create a new restore point and name it as you like. I’m here naming it as restore and it will take less space now. This is how you can remove cache or junk files to cleanup your Windows 10 computer manually without using any software. How to automatically close disconnected remote desktop sessions on a windows 2008 terminal server

01:31
Use the following procedure to specify the timeout and reconnection settings for a remote session. Membership in the local Administrators group, or equivalent, on the RD Session Host server that you plan to configure, is the minimum required to complete this procedure. Review details about using the appropriate accounts and group memberships at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=83477. To specify timeout and reconnection settings for a remote session On the RD Session Host server, open Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration. To open Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration, click Start, point to Administrative Tools, point to Remote Desktop Services, and then click Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration. Under Connections, right-click the name of the connection, and then click Properties. In the Properties dialog box for the connection, on the Sessions tab, select the following options as necessary: Select the Override user settings check box, and then set timeout settings for End a disconnected session, Active session limit, and Idle session limit. Select the Override user settings check box, and then select one of the following reconnection settings: Disconnect from session or End session. Click OK. Changes to timeout and reconnection settings are not applied to sessions that are connected when the change is made. The changes will take effect the next time the user establishes a new connection to the RD Session Host server.

In the previous login videos I have on this channel, there were some loopholes like when a user enters the index.php on the url without having logged in, it still takes them to the home page. But that is not secure. This new video checks that and makes sure it automatically redirects any request to the login page when it finds out that the user isn't logged in. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - C O U R S E S - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - { B O O T C A M P S } - - The Web Developer Bootcamp: http://bit.ly/2NpDcKR - - The Complete Web Developer in 2018: Zero to Mastery: http://bit.ly/2N0ZW4F { P H P } - - PHP for Beginners - Become a PHP Master - CMS Project: http://bit.ly/2u5QMIw - - Create a REAL Social Network like Facebook in PHP + MySQL: http://bit.ly/2wUv3om - - PHP with Laravel for beginners - Become a Master in Laravel: http://bit.ly/2QcbeRf - - PHP OOP - Understand Object Oriented Programming in PHP: http://bit.ly/2CysNs3 { P Y T H O N } - - Complete Python Bootcamp: Go from zero to hero in Python 3: http://bit.ly/2wSybRs - - Complete Python Masterclass: http://bit.ly/2oNWfQW { J A V A S C R I P T } - - Modern JavaScript From The Beginning: http://bit.ly/2wUHdwD - - The Complete JavaScript Course 2018: Build Real Projects!: http://bit.ly/2wUlZ1L - - Modern React with Redux: http://bit.ly/2QcWBx0 - - MERN Stack Front To Back: Full Stack React, Redux & Node.js: http://bit.ly/2CAaeDY

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Manage My Work Orders Disconnected for Mobile Tablet

05:08
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Manage My Work Orders Disconnected for Mobile Tablet application allows maintenance technicians to review and update equipment work orders that they are assigned to. After selecting a work order from the list in the left side pane (search and filter ability for the list), the user will be able to see some core fields for the work order, update the work order status and actual finish date, see a map of the equipment site and geo-coordinates, see and add notes and view photos. The user will also be able to issue listed parts to the work orders. This application has been updated to enable users to view and edit work orders when they are disconnected from the network. To successfully make changes to work orders using the disconnected method, users must load their tablet device with work order data from the server while they are connected to the network. They can then disconnect, and make changes to their work order records while away from the office. When they are reconnected to the network, users can upload their changes back to the EnterpriseOne server. You must be a user of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Capital Asset Management with mobile services configured by your administrator. Contact your IT department for the final step to configure this mobile application with your business data on your device. Instructions to enable mobile services for this application can be found through My Oracle Support at https://support.oracle.com.
