ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 8 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX — interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything — be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yet¬to¬be-dreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“ROBUX”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

This is a very cool easy magic trick that anyone can do, and depending on how good you are, you can add or take off the sleight of hand at the end of the trick. The first step is to separate out 15 cards from a normal deck of cards. These can be any cards accept the jokers, even the jokers if you really wanted. Hold up the 15 cards to the person you are performing the trick for. Ask them to memorize a card that you are holding. They don't have to touch the card or take it out or anything, they just havwe to remember any of the cards. Next, lay the cards down on the table in three rows of five. Then pick up each row of five, and ask the person if their card is in that pile. When they say their card is in that pile, put that pile on top of the deck of 15 cards. You now know that their card is one of the top 5 cards. The next step is to lay the cards out in three rows again, but this time you have to lay out the cards so that the first row has 2 cards out of the five at the top, the next row has two more, and the last row has 1. This makes it so that if the person says their card is in the first row, you know it is one of the top two cards in that row, if they say it is in the second row, then you know it is one of the top two cards in that row, and if they say it's in the third row, you know their card is the top one in that row. If their card is in the first two rows, you will have to repeat the last step once more, where you put one of the possibles at the top of the first row, and the other possible at the top of the second row. If their card was in the last row, then you know their card is the top card in that row, and can go to the next step without putting out rows again. Now that you know which card is theirs, you have to present it to them in a cool way. If you really want to at this point, you can just flip the card over and say, "Is this your card?", but that's not a very good performance. The first part of the big reveal, is to get the audience involved. Give them a choice so that they feel they've affected the outcome, when they really haven't. At this point you have the stack of 15 cards, where you know which card belongs to the person. I usually put it as the sixth card in the deck, but putting the last pile that they said their card is in between the other two piles. I then lay the cards out to look kind of like a person, where there is a card in the center, and then a corner of each of the other four cards touching a corner of the card in the center. Make sure to remember which card is theirs while putting them down, so that you remember when you pick them back up. Then give the person a choice. Tell them to choose two piles. If they choose the pile that their card is in along with another, get rid of the third pile. If they choose the two piles without their card, get rid of those two piles. This will make the person feel even more amazed by your trick, because they think they have affected it. After this, put their card in the center of the cards that are left. Make sure to practice this part, so that you can do it without them noticing. It's good strategy to distract them with talking or pointing at the pile that you threw away while doing this. Make sure to leave their card sticking out a bit, so that you can clamp it with you pointer finger and middle finger more firmly than the other cards for the next step. For the big reveal, hold their card tight while holding the other cards more loosely, the KARATE CHOP the pile. Do it in as extreme a way as you can, really surprise them if possible. With your karate chop make sure to be holding their card very tightly so the other cards fly out of your hand but that one remains. At this point, flip their card over and ask, "Is this your card?" If someone asks, "How did you do that?" DO NOT show them. It will ruin the trick and will leave you with less people to perform for. Magic is a lot more fun when it's mysterious, so it's better for both of you to keep it a secret. They can research it on their own if they're really interested. Easy way how to appear signed card in your wallet. More videos: http://cardtricksrevealed.com There are many ways hot to get playing card signed by spectator to your wallet. Lines and video below describes one of the easiest methods I know. It is not so difficult but it will require some practice and knowledge of two basic moves - card control to top of the deck and also double lift. There are also many ways how to control a card or how to do double lift. In my tutorial I rely that you probably already know this quite basic moves so I don't go deep in instructions in my video. If you will struggle with this two moves, search YouTube for their tutorial :) Now, lets get right to signed card to wallet routine! ;) Preparation There is not much to prepare - only tak your double back card and place it on suitable place inside your wallet... thats it for preparation ;) If you don't have double back card, you can buy it in magic store or make it on your own by sticking two playing cards together - if you'll use double sided tape, it will not damage your cards. Step by step - Ask spectator to choose any card and sign it - Once done, control the card on top of the deck (one easy method described in video below) - Take your wallet and open it - spectator will see that there is one card inside (its your double back card) - Take this card from wallet and place it naturally on the top of the deck - Perform double lift (shortly described in video below) - it will look like the signed card travelled to wallet! This Street magic card trick effect is a great street magic illusion. I call it a playing card to impossible location because this is what the illusion is. A card is selected and it is marked by having the corner of it torn of and retained by a spectator as a receipt. The rest of the card is then vanished by the magician and it then reappears in an impossible location. In this case inside a box which is inside a bag held by another spectator at the start of the trick. This is my handling of this classic effect and I wanted to achieve two key points. First, the vanish of the card had to be a convincing bare hand vanish. Second, I created the illusion so I could turn it around quickly for table hopping. http://www.andyfield.info/news/my-torn-and-restored-card-trick-handling-tuition/

Check out the official app http://apple.co/1L2R6LR Watch more Card Flourishes & Sleight of Hand videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/515107-How-to-Throw-Cards-Magic-Card-Flourishes Mike Patrick: Hi. I'm Mike Patrick, and today I'm going to teach you how to throw playing cards. The grip I use most often is, I use two grips. One of which is like this. I use these two fingers, the index and middle finger, and it clips the outer right hand corner, and the lower right hand corner touches the palm of your hand. And it's not like a throwing action, it's mostly wrist. So when you first do this you should use just your wrist to get used to tossing cards like this. You'll get a little bit more accurate over time, but use mostly your wrist at first. When you get good at that you can use your whole arm, and you can throw much further and much harder. The other grip that I use, and this one I think I get a little bit more accuracy with this grip. So what I do is I clip the outer left hand corner of this and this corner goes into the hand, so now the card is held more in a parallel action. Do the exact same kind of action, a tossing straight forward and you should be able to get a lot of distance with just the throwing action. Again, I can't stress this enough, use just your wrist when you start. Don't use your arm. Once you get comfortable with your wrist and once you get relatively accurate, throw a few decks of cards have a little basket, it's easier to pick them up out of, once you get used to that you can throw cards very rapidly and terrorize your friends. That's how to throw a deck of cards or individual cards. I'm Mike Patrick and don't take out too many eyes.

Learn more tricks and magic at http://52kards.com In this tutorial I'll cover a card vanishing technique that is ideal for close up scenarious. Most backpalming is typically done in a stage setting with your arm outstretched to your side, but this variation allows you to perform the vanish from someone directly in front of you. It also makes use of your second hand for cover so you can do the vanish slowly and with less risk of flashing when done at the proper angle. ▼ References ----------------------------------- Backpalming tutorial - https://youtu.be/QyqdJnXpvz0 ▼ Deck Used ----------------------------------- Raspberry Mint - https://52kards.com/product/mint/ ▼ Follow 52Kards Everywhere ------------------------------------------ Website: http://52Kards.com Instagram: http://Instagram.com/52Kards Facebook: http://on.fb.me/52Kards Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/52Kards

The Best Gaming Cases: http://youtu.be/2Aw3j3Mj5Ls A Guide To Playmats: http://youtu.be/0HOjmAB4WaA What Are The Best Binders: http://youtu.be/H5IauASYWjk The Best Card Sleeves: http://youtu.be/w-aAeIZSNWw How To Start Playing Magic: The Gathering - A Beginner's Guide The following is a 6 step guide to starting Magic: The Gathering from absolute scratch. This is not a video that teaches you how to play the game, but rather guides you in your purchases and decision making so that you can go from having never played Magic: The Gathering before, to being able to attend store events and regularly play games. Please note: As always, this video is only meant as guidance, not absolute rules. it is one path, one method of many, but it only a suggestion. It is designed with the goal of being able to play regularly at store events, but that may not be your own personal goal when it comes to Magic. Still, even if you are looking to achieve different things from this game, perhaps by seeing one path people can take, you might discover new ideas that help you meet your needs. The importance of friend or partner: If you'll allow me one more preamble, I'd like to stress the importance of having a friend or partner to play with. The most important thing you can do as a new player is...to play. Practice, practice, practice, and in order to do this, it helps to have a practice partner. Going into this game with a friend or lover is a huge advantage, as you'll always have someone to play with and learn with. I'm a major advocate of couples getting into Magic together, as it gives you both a fun and engaging activity that you can share with one another. If you don't know anyone who is interested in learning with you, or who already plays, don't despair. Magic is a highly social game. Hanging out at your local game store isn't just how you get in games, it is also how you meet people and make friends. So where do you begin from absolute scratch? Step 1: Buy Duels of the PlanesWalkers 2014 Step 2: Get 2 Quick Start Decks. Step 3: Join your store's league Step 4: Play a Draft Step 5: If a prerelease or launch is upcoming, attend. Step 6: Put your first standard deck together. Ann: Sure. Jason: All right, great. Go ahead and select any card that you'd like from the entire deck. Got it? Ann: Yes. Jason: Memorize it and show it to the camera. Perfect. Go ahead and just place it right there on top and all I want you to do is cut the deck in half. Perfect and just complete the cut. Great. So now your card is lost in the deck. I don't know where it is. You don't know where it is. I'm going to try to just kind of sense out your card but, it doesn't always work quite the way I want it to, it's not going to happen. But, you know what? What's in a name? But I'll tell you what; I think your card might be a little bit more apt to try and find itself. I know that probably sounds weird but just bear with me. Could you tell me what your card was? Ann: It was a ten of hearts. Jason: It was a ten of hearts? And that's the first time you've told me your card. I haven't seen it. You put it away in the deck? Ann: Yes. Jason: T-E-N H-E-A-R-T-S. No. You know what? It's your card. I wonder if, maybe this would work better for you. Would you give it a shot? Ann: Sure. T-E-N H-E-A-R-T. Jason: And flip it over for me. Ann: S. Crazy. Jason: What's in a name? So this is another spelling trick. It's a great little effect and here's how this one works. First thing I have to do is I have to find her card. Now the way I find her card is really simple, it's just a key card, right? I use the bottom card, the nine of clubs in this case so that when she selects her card I already know the bottom card. She selects a card, take whichever one you want. Right? Show it to the camera. Place it right on top. Cut the deck in half. And when she completes the cut the nine of clubs ends up right on top of her card. So all I have to do is as I'm trying to sense her card, going through the deck, I know that her card is always going to be right below the key card. All I do is cut it to the top. Now it's a matter of finding it through its name. So I have her telling me the name as if I don't know the card yet. What's the name of the card? Ann: It's a six of... Jason: A six of... Ann: Spades. Jason: Spades. A six of spades? Are you sure? Ann: Six of clubs. Jason: It's a six of clubs? Ann: Yes. Jason: Great. It's a six of clubs. Not that I know. So what's your card again? Ann: Six of clubs. Jason: Perfect. S-I-X C-L-U-B and S. And of course I know that's not it. But, by putting it right back on and actually placing the cards that I've just laid out here back on top of the deck, remember because I've been dealing them into a pile they're now in reversed order, her card is actually at the bottom of the pile because it was originally on top. So I place it right back on so now all I have to do is justify her spelling out the card. And I do that just by reminding her; well of course I'm not going to be able to find your card. It's your card. It's bound to you. So why don't you try? We'll use a little bit of magic right? And all I want you to do is spell out your card. S-I-X C-L-U-B and S.

You hold the deck of cards in your hand and you have it slightly beveled. That means you place it like this and you get an angle going towards your hand so you should get an angle like this and you place your index finger over the side. So your third, fourth and fifth fingers are riding along the edge and you have your index finger along this end. You place it down into a surface and apply even pressure as you go in a straight line or an arc, if you like to do it like this, across the mat. It's important that you just don't try to match the cards because you'll get a very uneven spread that will be very thick at one end. So the important part, once again, is to have the bevel, place your finger over and just spread the cards. To turn them over, you need a surface like this is a closet mat but it also works on a carpet or anything that will have friction. It won't really work on a table so well because it will immediately just flip and the cards won't work. So what you do is you grab one end and you place your finger on top and you can ride right across turning the entire spread over. This can go back and forth if you like, shuu, shuu, and you can even split it in the middle. So if you go to about the center, place the other finger on top, you can make two peaks go back and forth like this. The danger is that it will split like that occasionally so I usually just do the spread like this and pick them up. And that's how you do the ribbon spread.

Check out the official app http://apple.co/1L2R6LR Watch more Card Tricks Revealed videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/473226-How-to-Do-the-Spelling-Card-Magic-Trick-Card-Tricks My name is Ben Nemzer and I'm a magician. One of my specialties is Close-Up magic which is magic with ordinary objects. Decks of card, ropes, rubber bands. And, I do that all over New York City. I'm going to teach you some of the basics of magic that you guys can start performing right away. This is the Spelling Card Trick. And, it uses only 13 cards. We'll give them a little mix up. And all I do is I spell the card and it magically appears on top. Have a look. Ace. A C E. Two, T W O. Three, T H R E E. Four, F O U R. Five, F I V E. Six, S I X. Seven, S E V E N. Eight, E I G H T. Nine, N I N E. Ten, T E N. Jack, J A C K. Queen, Q U E E N. And my favorite part, King, K I N G. And, here's the secret. It's actually really fun. First of all you have to take out 13 cards. Ace through king. So, that's ace, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, jack, queen, king. This trick is another one of those tricks that's called a Self-Working trick. So, as long as you set it up right, the entire trick will work all by itself. Now, there's a very specific setup to make sure you do the trick correctly. And, I'm going to teach you what it is. It uses an mnemonic device. It's a little story that you tell yourself. And, that's how you remember how to set up the cards. So, I'm going to tell it to you. And, you're going to want to make sure to either save this video or write it down. That way you can be sure to set it up right, every time. So, in the year 387 there was a Queen who was 64 years old. She had two sons named Jack and Kevin in the year 1095. Now, let's dissect that story and we'll see what it means. All I do is I place a card down for each thing that I say. So in the year three, 80, seven. And you'll notice, as I say the card, I place it down on the table face up. That gets me ready to go. In the year 387 there was a Queen who was 64 years old. She had two sons. Jack and Kevin in the year ten, 90, five. Now you're good to go. However, if you want to add the extra bonus of pretending to mix the cards, there's a very cool way you can do that. You hold the cards in your hand and peel off one card at a time. And, if you do this, now the cards are exactly backwards of the way they need to be. And you can start the trick like this and you say you're going to mix up the cards and put them right back the way they need to be. And, it looks like you're shuffling them but you're really very carefully taking one card at a time and placing it on the other. Now, you'll see from the top. Three, 80, seven. There was a Queen who was 64 years old. She had two sons named Jack and Kevin in the year ten, 90, five. And all you do is you take one card from the top and move it to the bottom for each card that we spell. Now, the first one is ace. A lot of people will say one but you really spell ace. A C E. One also works, but it's not the card you're about to show them. Then you continue to spell. You just take one off the top, put on the bottom. T W O. And you lift the top card. So, each time the process is exactly the same. Every letter you say, you take one card from the top. Put it to the bottom and turnover the card that is then on the top. For three. T H R E E. And you continue to do it until it will work. And that's how you do the Spelling Card Trick. And, the mystery question is, "How old was the Queen when she had her two sons?" If you know the answer, leave it in the comments.

And when you borrow the deck, all you have to do is just peek at the top card. In this case, it's the eight of diamonds. And then, all you gotta do is just take the deck and shuffle it. But retain the top card. Again. Shuffle again if you want. Retain the top card like I said. So the top card is still the eight of diamonds. Have them cut the deck anywhere they want. They can cut it anywhere they want. And you're going to mark the cut. Take this half and just mark the cut. And this is actually a force. You force the eight of diamonds on them. I'll show you how in a second. And you're gonna talk to them for a second. You'll say, "Was that fair? You could have cut anywhere you wanted to." This is called time misdirection. Then you tell them to memorize the card they cut to. But, in reality, that's actually the top card, eight of diamonds. But since you talked to them they forget. And thus the term time misdirection. One more time. You're gonna peek at the top card. Have them cut the deck. Mark the cut. Talk a little bit. And have them look at the card they cut to which is the top card. And all you have to do is just read their mind. You could write it down. You could tell them, "A red card, a diamond, it's a number card, eight of diamonds." So have fun. Go out there and amaze people. That's the Mind Reading card trick.

Here's a great self-working card trick to teach your kids. If they are old enough to spell, they will love performing it for their friends. I learned about the trick, which was invented by magician Jim Steinmeyer, on Greg Ross's Futility Closet blog. "Remove any nine cards from an ordinary deck, shuffle them, and deal them face down into three piles. Choose any pile and note its bottom card. Then assemble the three piles into one, being sure to place the chosen pile on top. Suppose the card you chose is the three of spades. Spell T-H-R-E-E, dealing one card face down onto the table with each letter. Place the remaining cards on top of these five and take up the whole packet. Now spell O-F, and again place the remaining cards on top of these two. Then spell S-P-A-D-E-S and place the remaining cards on top. Now pick up the packet and spell M-A-G-I-C, dealing the final card face up. It's the three of spades." It boggles my mind that Mr. Steinmeyer could invent such a trick!

Hey guys! This cool beginner card trick is interactive, meaning no sneaky moves or sleight of hand. This can be done to a spectator in person, or even over the phone! Here is a written detailed tutorial just in case you didn't understand something: 1. Pick a card, then set it down. 2. Split the deck into 3 equal piles next to each other. 3. Pick any pile and place your card underneath it face down. 4. Spell your card (Value, "Of", Suit). If there are any remaining cards, place them on top. 5. Take the remaining 2 piles and mix them up together. Pick another random card from there. 6. Leave that card on the table, and now with the original pile. containing your card, spell that random card you had just selected. Again, if any cards still remain, place them on top. 7. Remember the original card you picked from the beginning, and spell that card one more time. 8. Wave your hand over the pile, and flip over the top card, it should be your card. 9. PERFORM IT TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW! Tags: #magic #cardtricks #spellingcardtrick #interactivecardtrick #easycardtricks
