Men: The true victims of domestic abuse

11:47
The city police launched a campaign targeting men as the primary reason behind domestic abuse. This is absolutely not true and is spread by feminazis playing the victim. Women beating men are about 50% of domestic violence acts. http://www.statcan.gc.ca/pub/85-002-x/2016001/article/14303/01-eng.htm http://equalitycanada.com/cause/violenceagainstmen/ If you need immediate assistance, call 911 or your local emergency service. 2009: Ray Barry talks about male victims of domestic violence (BBC 'The Big Questions')

17:43
If everyone who watched this video gave us just £1 – or even better, £1 monthly - we could change the world. Click here to make a difference. Thanks. https://j4mb.wordpress.com/donate/ Our thanks to J for supplying us with this footage of an interesting discussion on the BBC TV programme 'The Big Questions', series 2, episode 42, recorded in 2009. The discussion concerned a recommendation by the Association of Chief Police Officers that a national register be established of men convicted of domestic violence against women, the register to include details of men said by at least two female ex-partners to have been violent, regardless of whether any evidence existed to back up their allegations. Hmm, might malicious women use the register to damage former partners with unproven allegations? And might bears c*** in woods, and the Pope be a Catholic? A good deal of exposure - far too much - was given to Pat Craven of 'The Freedom Programme', whose contribution echoed her organisation's website http://freedomprogramme.co.uk in portraying a parallel universe in which victims can be assumed to be women, perpetrators can be assumed to be men. In common with many women running organisations focused on female victims of DV, she showed not an ounce of compassion for male victims, not recognition of female perpetrators. These women are so driven by visceral hatred towards men as a class that they can't even bring themselves to PRETEND to care about male victims. Ray Barry is the leader of Real Fathers for Justice, and will be standing for J4MB in Broxtowe at the coming general election. His media performances are always impressive - whether on television or radio - and this is a particularly good example. His contributions start at 5:23 and 15:42. In the first contribution he presents data from the British Crime Survey, showing the consistent figure of around 40% of victims of domestic abuse being men, which Pat Craven blithely says she doesn't agree with, then changes the subject by turning to Cristina Odone.

MEN ARE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE TOO

19:48
Hey guys, so some people have asked me to do a part 2 to my previous chatty video, this is as close as it will get to one unfortunately as I don't think I need to say anymore on the actual Johnny Depp/Amber Heard divorce case, I have done this one because people have asked questions about my fathers situation and I felt I needed to go into more detail as a lot of people still don't understand domestic violence, let alone, domestic violence against men. I have used Johnny Depp as an example of seeing signs only in this video, there were never any allegations made against Amber Heard from him or his team, but the signs I saw in him are of emotional abuse. There have been statements to say that she was aggressive towards him on multiple occasions, you can find them by looking for them on Google. Emma Roberts abused Evan Peters, link - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2366343/Emma-Roberts-arrested-domestic-violence-boyfriend-Evan-Peters-leaving-actor-bloody-nose-bite-mark.html Sorry for the depressing video, but Domestic Violence is a taboo topic not discussed enough, especially when it is against men. Over 40% of DV victims are male, most shelters are female orientated and men do not get the same help as women do. If you're approached by a male victim, or if there is something that you CAN do to help someone, please do help them, take them just as seriously as you would a woman, because abuse is not confined to just one gender. And please, be respectful when commenting, whether you agree with what I say or not, I am still a human, and I still have someone in this awful situation. Hurtful, disgusting comments will be reported and removed. Thank you so much to everyone for your support on the last video, I can't believe how ultimately positive the response was. If anybody is in this situation and you need to talk, i'm on twitter and instagram: T: @burnttautumn I: @autumonvenus I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. xoxo

Putin Made Domestic Abuse Legal in Russia — We Met The Victims (HBO)

06:54
Domestic violence kills 12,000 women a year in Russia — that’s one woman every 40 minutes. Despite this, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a bill in February to decriminalize certain acts of domestic violence. First time offenders who inflict non life-threatening beatings are now released from jail after just 15 days, or receive a fine of around 500 USD. Since these amendments to the criminal code, reports of domestic abuse incidents in Russia have spiked. VICE News went to meet those behind the changes, as well as the people most affected. Narcisssim: When Men Are The Real Victims

For those that are going to court against a narcissist, the PDF entitled When The Devils The Defendant has been a helpful tool for thousands- https://payhip.com/b/Kl21 Dating Harley Quinn – Female Histrionic Narcissist is NOW AVAILABLE – https://payhip.com/b/a31b A male target of narcissistic abuse asked me if I would be interested in ghost writing his memoir and after hearing his story I was hooked. It’s one thing to hear about what narcissistic abuse is, to learn about triangulation, blame shifting, projection, narcissistic supply, gaslighting and so many other terms and manipulation tactics we come to learn about on our journey to heal from narcissistic abuse. But it’s another story to delve into the life of someone trapped in a trauma bond by a female histrionic narcissist. This memoir, written in novel form, takes you on the roller coaster ride of highs and lows that are typical in emotionally abusive relationships. Here is a brief description of the book, a link is found below. This memoir opens the door to what my life was like dating a female histrionic narcissist. The beginning of the relationship was surreal - if ever I had fantasized about what the perfect girl would be - it paled in comparison to what Angel was truly like and how she enhanced my life. If I were to compare her to anyone I had ever dated - it would not be fair; it would be like comparing a painting done with finger paints hanging on a refrigerator door, held up with a magnet, to Michelangelo's art scenes from Genesis painted on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in Rome. The feeling Angel gave was a perfect purity of manifested perfection. I quite literally could not imagen a girl more totally perfect, my imagination was stretched just to take in the reality of her. She took me in every way she possibly could to the heights beyond the tops of Mt. Everest in sensual and hedonistic pleasure. She brought me to the edge of the stratosphere where the air is so thin you have to wear a space suit - but the view - the view is all humanity stretched out before you and you can see the curvature of the earth and the blackness of space. And then she dropped me. While reading this story there are no definitions spelled out as to narcissistic abuse, nor what histrionics are like, rather a picture is painted before your eyes. You will see the idealization phase, notice the cycle of highs and lows that are signature to emotionally abusive relationships, you will watch in horror as the trauma bonds can cause a person to make the worst, self-destructive decisions possible. I'm inviting you to bear witness to my journey. What looked so innocent and enticing quickly turned into a covert poison that cost me a million-dollar business, my health, provoked a suicide attempt and left me homeless and suffering brain damage. This is my story. It's not meant to entice sympathy, rather it's a wake- up call for anyone that is in a relationship with someone narcissistic, sociopathic, histrionic or a cocktail of mixed cluster b disorders. https://payhip.com/b/a31b

Domestic Abuse - Men as the Victims

01:03
This is a Stop Motion Film Produced by Kat Tindle for a University Project and Competition. This video was produced to be used as a Television advert to raise awareness of Domestic Violence with men being the victims. I created this video to suit all, where as men won't connect to this publicly, privately they'll remember the video. This video also helps make woman and children aware that this is an issue and it does happen, so maybe they'll take more notice. The idea behind the white background is that the bear (Or man) is isolated from the world, the violence taking up everything he is. The reasoning behind the specific attacks is that the arms represent physical attack, the head represents mental abuse, and the torso (heart taking) is representing soul crushing.

Meeting the needs of male victims of domestic and family violence - Part 1 of 7

This is a broadcast of a Panel Session called Meeting the needs of male victims of domestic and family violence, presented at the Australian Institute of Criminology's Meeting the needs of victims of crime conference held in Sydney on 19 May 2011. Part 1 of the Panel Session features Dr. Elizabeth Celi, a psychologist in private practice specialising in men's mental health. Since releasing her first book in 2008, "Regular Joe vs. Mr Invincible -- The battle for the True Man", Elizabeth has grown in her own awareness of the silent phenomena of male victims of domestic abuse. Astounded at the oppressive personal impact on men and the social blind spot on this sector of our community, she now actively advocates for this much needed area of men's mental health. As you can imagine, Elizabeth has never been short of stimulating discussions and debates on this issue and broader issues affecting men's identity. With regular appearances on TV, several radio interviews and keynotes in Parliament for men's health summits, Elizabeth sheds light on misperceptions surrounding men's psychology. She facilitated, along with the panel, some healthy and robust discussion on developing awareness, understanding and services assisting male victims and female perpetrators of intimate partner abuse and violence. In this part of the podcast, Elizabeth introduces the topic for discussion and sets the scene for the speakers to come.

Male Victims of Domestic Violence The Hidden Story

07:05
I have spent over 20 years studying and trying to help male victims of abuse. In that time I have watched the Government of all shades of political opinion do all they can to erect barriers to helping men. Paying this huge problem nothing but lip service and giving only the minimum of tax payer money towards research, public assistance, legal help and shelter provision to this HUGE problem. I have watched them deliberately mislead the public by publishing doctored and skewed statistics about the amount of male victims out there and I have seen them ignore their own scientific research when it does not fall into line with current political ideology (Which despite being a left-wing ideology, right-wing parties still support it) on the subject. I have watched them use the media to flat out lie to the people and attempt in every way to minimise the suffering of male victims. In short, the blood of male victims in on their hands. Idiots yell further abuse by telling victims to "man up" and "grow a pair, dude!" So, in anticipation of the idiots that will do that here, here is a questions for you: You have a child or two with a woman. You love your kids more than life and work hard to get them the best life you can. Then she starts assaulting you. REMEMBER: You can NOT legally, hit her back unless your life is threatened. If you do, and she calls YOU the abuser, you are pretty much screwed and she knows it. Perhaps you hold her tight until she calms down. She attacks you in your sleep. Maybe by poring boiling water over you. You have to leave. If you are not married and you take the lids with you, in the UK you leave yourself open to kidnapping charges. What if you have nowhere to go? Do you leave but leave the kids with an abuser? Do you call the cops and risk her accusing you? Tell me, how are you going to "man up" now dude? Did you "grow a pair" yet? Do let us know what you do next. We would all love to know.

ABC TV Q&A Family Violence Special - Question from Male Victim

04:54
Excerpt from the ABC TV Q&A Family Violence Special broadcast live on Feb 23, 2015. Audience member Steve Khouw notes that ABS and AIC data shows at least one in three victims of family violence is male. He talks bravely about his experience of being assaulted and suffering immensely with psychological trauma. He reveals that nobody believed him – the police, social workers, the court system, not even his mates – because he is male. Steve asks the panel how we can recognise and assist male victims of family violence in such a way that we don't take away the good work that we are already doing in preventing violence against women.

Gloria Allred Represents a Male Victim of Domestic Violence

04:52
Today Virginia Valdez was sentenced for the crime that she committed three years ago against her then husband Cesar Valdez. Previously Ms. Valdez entered a plea to assault with a deadly weapon (ADW) with a scissors which is a “one strike” felony. She was sentenced to 420 hours of community service, three years probation and a ten year restraining order preventing her from contact with Cesar Valdez. Cesar agreed that Ms. Valdez could enter the plea and receive this punishment, because the criminal case has been dragging on for three years with numerous continuances and Cesar wanted to be able to go on with his life. Cesar is left with some resentment against the criminal justice system because he feels that if he had been a woman victim of domestic violence that the case would not have been permitted to be delayed for so long and that the punishment for Virginia would have been harsher. In other words he feels that he has been the victim of a double standard and that domestic violence against men is not taken as seriously as spousal violence against women. Is there a double standard? Cesar feels that there is and that men are less likely to be believed because of stereotypes about men. As a feminist I believe that the saying “there is no excuse for abuse” applies equally to men and women. Violence is horrific whether the victims are male or female. In this case, clearly Cesar was a victim of a crime and his wife is convicted of a violent crime against him. Cesar has been very courageous and has made every effort to conduct himself with patience and with dignity for the last three years. He did nothing to justify such an attack and should never have been a victim of violence by Virginia. Long marriages are complicated and full of emotional minefields, but violence is never the answer to resolving issues. I am happy that Cesar came to me for support and assistance and I hope that in the future neither men nor women will be victimized by such a violent, unjustified and painful attack by the person they love and whom they had every right to trust.
