China's trillion dollar plan to dominate global trade

05:59
It's about more than just economics. To learn more, visit https://reconnectingasia.csis.org/map/ Subscribe to our channel! http://goo.gl/0bsAjO China's Belt and Road Initiative is the most ambitious infrastructure project in modern history. It spans over 60 countries and will cost over a trillion dollars. The plan is to make it easier for the world to trade with China, by funding roads, railways, pipelines, and other infrastructure projects in Asia and Africa. China is loaning trillions of dollars to any country that's willing to participate and it's been a big hit with the less democratic countries in the region. This makes the BRI a risky plan as well. But China is pushing forward because its goals are not strictly economic, they're also geopolitical. To truly understand the international conflicts and trends shaping our world you need a big-picture view. The Busiest Shipping Port in the World!! // Along the Yangtze Day 9

04:10
The Yangtze river reaches the East China sea in Shanghai. The area is a hotbed for shipping, in fact the Port of Shanghai is the busiest port in the world. Many ships carry cargo up the Yangtze to inner China, but the deep-water port ships to all over the world. We cross one of the longest sea bridges in the world, the Donghai bridge and head to the Yangshan port. It's the largest deep-water port in the world, capable of moving 15 million shipping containers a year. ---/// ABOUT ME \\\--- I live in China and am constantly exploring and traveling the country and other parts of Asia. 5 Mistakes New Importers Make When Importing Products from China

13:39
Discover the 5 mistakes new importers make when they are importing products from China. Don’t make the same mistakes! Get our free ebook: http://wholesaleted.com/4-step Freightos: http://wholesaleted.com/go/freightos First mistake importers make when importing products from China: Assuming that shipping by sea will be the cheapest option A lot of new importers think they will save money if they ship by sea rather than air. On the surface it seems cheaper as importers usually pay around 60 cents/KG when shipping via sea, compared to the $7/KG when shipping by air courier. Unfortunately what they don’t realize is that the reason it’s that cheap is because when shipping via sea, you ship via container, and you need to rent an entire container. They are very large and require you to be shipping hundreds of KGs to be making it worth your time. If you are an Amazon private label seller, you are unlikely to have enough stock being shipped to fill a container by at least 60-70% so it will be cheaper to ship by air. When shipping by air, you have two options: 1) Air freight 2) Air courier Air courier is when you have your items shipped door-to-door. It is the easiest but the most expensive per KG (although in smaller quantities it is cheaper). Air freight is when you have your items flown from one airport to the other. You will need to organize other additional services: * Having the items delivered to the airport * A customs broker * Having the items delivered from the airport to the final location. There are a lot of fixed fees with this which means it becomes cheaper to use air freight with larger quantities. To figure out which option will be cheaper for you, I recommend using Freightos. Second mistake importers make when importing products from China: Not using the Metric system In China, they use the Metric system and not the Imperial system. So be sure to use KGs instead of lbs and CM instead of inches. It’s important to remember that when working with Chinese suppliers that they expect you to work on their terms and their timeframes. It can be frustrating, but it’s worth it for the cheap Chinese products you import! Third mistake importers make when importing products from China: Using Less than Container Load for shipping When shipping by sea, you have two options: 1) FCL which stands for Full Container Load 2) LCL which stands for Less than Container Load Inexperienced importers fall for the trap of shipping with LCL because they see that the price are extremely cheap. What they don’t realize is that these LCL companies have special deals with the ports to charge you extremely high Destination Service Charges. The LCL companies then make their money in the form of a “rebate” which is essentially commissions/kickbacks. Destination Service Charges are usually priced per-container and cost between $500-$1000 per container for ports in the USA. But when shipping by LCL you end up paying a high fee per cubic meters. It means that you often end up paying a fee comparable to shipping an entire container. Don’t fall for this trap: If you can’t break even with FCL, then ship by air. Fourth mistake importers make when importing products from China: not calculating the correct duties you will need to pay When you import products from China, you will need to pay duties at the border. If you don’t calculate the correct rate you can get a shock if it comes back as more than you expected. Duties can be a bit complicated to work out because there are a lot of variables. For example, if you imported woolen jackets, you need to consider which country the wool came from, as some countries (like Israel) have duty-free agreements over wool, which would reduce the duties you had to pay. On the other hand if synthetic fibres were used instead of pure wool, then your duty rates would be higher since there are higher duties applied to synthetic fibres within the USA. To figure out what your duty rate is, find out what the HTS (Harmonized Tax System) code is for your item. To find this, ask your Chinese supplier as they will most likely know. You can then go through the HTS manual and find what the duty rate is for the HTS code of your products. Fifth mistake importers make when importing products from China: being afraid to make mistakes And finally - don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Through making mistakes you learn how to overcome them the next time and make even more money. Mistakes are apart of entrepreneurship. Learn from others - and learn from your own as well!

Ship carrying American soybeans docks at Dalian port after month at sea

The ship missed a deadline to avoid the 25-percent tariff on the imported good by just a few hours. CGTN’s Xu Xinchen filed this report from the port in Dalian City, in northeastern China.

China blocks US Navy warship's entry to Hong Kong port as ties between Washington

10:14
China blocks US Navy warship's entry to Hong Kong port as ties between Washington and Beijing circle the drain China has refused to grant a US Navy warship permission to make a port call in Hong Kong, the local US consulate reported Tuesday, according to the Hong Kong-based South China Morning Post. The amphibious assault ship USS Wasp, which carries the F-35B Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter, was expected to visit the former British colony next month, according to The Wall Street Journal. But Beijing has denied the US Navy's request, another sign of deteriorating ties between the US and China. It is not uncommon for China to deny US port call requests when it is displeased with the countries' relations - as was the case in April 2016, when Beijing refused to allow the aircraft carrier USS John Stennis to visit Hong Kong amid rising tensions in the South China Sea. Locked in an intensifying trade war, both Washington and Beijing have targeted one another with hundreds of billions of dollars in punitive trade tariffs. The US is criticizing China for economic aggression and unfair trade practices, and China perceives US actions as a clear exercise in containment, an effort by the hegemonic power to cripple the rise of a developing challenger. Sweet Water Plant In Gwadar Sea Port By Economic Corridor & 2nd Highest Mountain K2 In World || CPEC

04:06
GWADAR: A desalination plant installed at the Gwadar port by China Oversees Port Holding Company was inaugurated on Monday by federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo. The plant will supply drinking water to Gwadar. The newly-installed desalination plant with the capacity of producing 254,000 gallons of clean drinking water had been completed by the Chinese firm in record time. Senator Bizenjo, who is also president of the National Party, said that 2018 would prove to be a good beginning for the people of Gwadar as they would witness massive development in Balochistan under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He said the functioning of the desalination plant would reduce to some extent the shortage of drinking water in the city. People of Gwadar had been facing water shortage for the last many months and now they would get clean drinking water, he said. “The desalination plant is a true reflection of CPEC and Pakistan-China friendship and a gift for the people,” Mr Bizenjo said, adding that it was the result of the visionary thinking of the Gwadar Port Authority and China Overseas Port Holding Company chairmen. He expressed the hope that the water crisis in Gwadar would be resolved this year. He said that water supply from the Gwadar port would be cheaper than supply from the Mirani dam in Turbat. The minister later took a round of the plant where Chinese officials briefed him on the capacity of the plant. Earlier, Mr Bizenjo was received at the Gwadar airport by port and local administration officials. K2 : K2 (Urdu: کے ٹو ‬‎), also known as Mount Godwin-Austen or Chhogori (Balti and Urdu: چھوغوری‬‎), is the second highest mountain in the world, after Mount Everest (8,848 metres), at 8,611 metres (28,251 ft) above sea level. It is located on the China–Pakistan border between Baltistan, in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of northern Pakistan, and the Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous Countyof Xinjiang, China. K2 is the highest point of the Karakoram range and the highest point in both Pakistan and Xinjiang. K2 is known as the Savage Mountain due to the extreme difficulty of ascent. It has the second-highest fatality rate among the eight thousanders. With around 300 successful summits and 77 fatalities, about one person dies on the mountain for every four who summit. It is more difficult and hazardous to reach the peak of K2 from the Chinese side, so it is usually climbed from the Pakistani side. Unlike Annapurna, the mountain with the highest fatality-to-summit rate (191 summits and 61 fatalities), or the other eight thousanders, K2 has never been climbed during winter. Ascents have almost always been made in July and August (the warmest times of year); K2's more northern location makes it more susceptible to inclement and colder weather. Top 10 Container Ports In The World | Humans At Sea It is probably no surprise that the biggest ports in the world are all located in China. Over the years, Singapore was known as the world's largest container port. Few things traveled throughout Asia without stopping at some point in Singapore. Today, that seaport has been overtaken by Shanghai for some two years now. Mainland China ports account for 70% of the top 10 ports in the world. The U.S. is way down the list. Here's how they rank over the years, according to data from the World Shipping Council. data from: forbes.com Read more at : Facebook: www.facebook.com/beingmarinr Instagram: www.Instagram.com/humansatsea Subscribe & More Videos: https://goo.gl/e8omJ6 Thank for watching, Please Like Share And SUBSCRIBE!!! #worldsfirst, #ship

How the Mombasa port works - Kenya's Major sea port located in Mombasa

06:42
Port of Mombasa’s http://www.gendawacargo.com/ vital role in the transport network of East Africa cannot be over emphasized. It serves a region of over 120 million people and handles transit cargo to South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Tanzania. The vast majority of foodstuffs, raw materials, vehicles, iron, steel and petroleum products that are imported or exported in the region are handled through Mombasa port. Its throughput is growing by as much as 10 per cent each year, so extensive measures have been and are being taken to improve the capacity of the existing infrastructure as well as enhancing transport links to carry the cargo away from the port as quickly as possible. Transit of cargo through Kenya Some 30 per cent of cargo handled is transit cargo and this is expected to grow at an faster rate in the coming years as Kenya’s neighbours develop and improve their economic outlook. Over the five years to 2013, transit trade grew at an average rate of 7.1 per cent, with containers forming most of this growth. In 2013 the Port of Mombasa handled just over 6.6 million tonnes of transit cargo, up from 5 million tonnes in 2010. The transit trade to South Sudan has been growing fast and in 2013 it became the second largest transit country after Uganda. Uganda accounts for about 70 per cent of the transit trade market share. This share is reducing, even though volumes are increasing, because of other growing economies in the region. In 2012 South Sudan had a 12 per cent share, followed by DRC at seven per cent and Rwanda at four per cent. Kenya is attempting to reclaim much of the lost transit trade to Burundi, although its neighbour, Rwanda, is one of the fastest-growing transit destinations. To reflect this and to better serve its customers, the KPA opened a new liaison office in Kigali, Rwanda, in 2013. There is also a liaison office in Kampala and another office was opened in Bujumbura, Burundi on January 31, 2014. The Rwanda office will act as a coordination point for the KPA’s activities in the country. Rwanda transit trade has been growing at a rate of nine per cent each year and in 2012 it accounted for 260,000 tonnes. Transit trade is benefiting from two government measures to improve the flow of cargo from the Port of Mombasa: all cargo clearance activities by various government agencies will now be coordinated by the KPA; and all customs decisions will now be finalised in Mombasa rather than being referred to Nairobi. Transport of cargo from Mombasa port to Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan Much of the transit trade is currently transported by road; but with construction under way of a new standard gauge railway linking Mombasa with Nairobi and Kampala – and eventually Rwanda and Burundi – transit times will improve significantly. Closer integration between East African countries in the form of trade agreements and joint co-operation is also helping to strengthen economic links across the region. In recent years Kenya’s neighbours have shown a growing interest in the development of its transport infrastructure; and various leaders have attended opening or ground breaking ceremonies in order to show their support. Reports indicate that the competitiveness of the region is improving. As transport corridors improve efficiency and bureaucracy is reduced, the costs come down. Growth of Kenyan Economy Kenya’s economy is vibrant as a result of widespread investment and development. It is predicted that in five to 10 years the region will be a very different place, with new wealth and a huge increase in trade. The Port of Lamu, under development, will handle a lot of this new trade, especially the predicted oil exports from Uganda and South Sudan. Oil drilling activities in Uganda are increasing and South Sudan needs a more reliable route for its oil exports. All of this will require huge volumes of project cargo. The project to build a new port at Lamu will attract the bulk of this trade, but not for many years until the transport corridor is completed. However, peace in the region is a major determining factor in economic growth. If peace can be maintained, then most barriers to growth are removed. But the troubles in South Sudan in 2014 may have further implications not yet foreseen

New Development And Two New Cranes Of Gwadar Sea Port By China Pakistan Economic Corridor || CPEC

02:48
China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (Urdu: پاكستان-چین اقتصادی راہداری‬; also known by the acronym CPEC) is a collection of infrastructure projects that are currently under construction throughout Pakistan. Originally valued at $46 billion, the value of CPEC projects is now worth $62 billion. CPEC is intended to rapidly modernize Pakistani infrastructure and strengthen its economy by the construction of modern transportation networks, numerous energy projects, and special economic zones. On 13 November 2016, CPEC became partly operational when Chinese cargo was transported overland to Gwadar Port for onward maritime shipment to Africa and West Asia. A vast network of highways and railways are to be built under the aegis of CPEC that will span the length and breadth of Pakistan. Inefficiencies stemming from Pakistan's mostly dilapidated transportation network are estimated by the government to cause a loss of 3.55% of the country's annual GDP. Modern transportation networks built under CPEC will link seaports in Gwadar and Karachi with northern Pakistan, as well as points further north in western China and Central Asia. A 1,100 kilometre long motorway will be built between the cities of Karachi and Lahore as part of CPEC, while the Karakoram Highway between Rawalpindi and the Chinese border will be completely reconstructed and overhauled. The Karachi–Peshawar main railway line will also be upgraded to allow for train travel at up to 160 km per hour by December 2019. Pakistan's railway network will also be extended to eventually connect to China's Southern Xinjiang Railway in Kashgar. The estimated $11 billion required to modernise transportation networks will be financed by subsidized concessionary loans. Over $33 billion worth of energy infrastructure are to be constructed by private consortia to help alleviate Pakistan's chronic energy shortages, which regularly amount to over 4,500MW, and have shed an estimated 2–2.5% off Pakistan's annual gross domestic product. Over 10,400MW of energy generating capacity is to be brought online by the end of 2018, with the majority developed as part of CPEC's fast-tracked "Early Harvest" projects. A network of pipelines to transport liquefied natural gas and oil will also be laid as part of the project, including a $2.5 billion pipeline between Gwadar and Nawabshah to eventually transport gas from Iran. Electricity from these projects will primarily be generated from fossil fuels, though hydroelectric and wind-power projects are also included, as is the construction of one of the world's largest solar farms Gwadar 2 New Cranes : https://youtu.be/c7iRkQK2ai4 ˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍˍ Disclaimer : DISCLAIMER: Please don't go out of your way to or hate on anyone I talk about in my videos, this channel is to entertain people and I usually focus on joking about what the people are doing not the individual themselves, please don't go spreading hate it's all for laughs Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Beihai in China, port of international trade, large shipyard, business, shipping

01:14
Beihai (Chinese: 北海; pinyin: Běihǎi) is a prefecture-level city in the south of Guangxi, People's Republic of China. The name of the city means "north of the sea" in Chinese, signifying its status as a seaport on the north shore of the Gulf of Tonkin, which has granted it historical importance as a port of international trade for Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Yunnan.[1] Between the years 2006 and 2020, Beihai is predicted to be the world's fastest growing city.[2] Beihai has a large shipyard, but most of the money generated in the city is derived from trade. In addition, it governs the small islands of Weizhou and Xieyang, and is directly west of Leizhou Peninsula. After the 1876 Sino-British Treaty of Yantai, eight Western nations (the UK, US, Germany, Austria-Hungary, France, Italy, Portugal, and Belgium) set up consulates, hospitals, churches, schools, and maritime customs. Today, 15 of these western buildings remain in Beihai. It officially became an international tourist spot (旅遊對外開放城市) in 1982. City timeline[edit] December 4, 1949: Beihai became a town of Hepu County under the Communist Party of China . January 1951: a province-administered city of Guangdong May 1951: entrusted to Guangxi March 1952: officially administered by Guangxi May 1955: Administered by Guangdong again 1956: reduced to a county-level city 1958: reduced to Beihai People's Commune of Hepu County 1959: county-class town 1964: restored to county-class city June 1965: Administered by Guangxi again October 1983: restored to prefecture-level city Language[edit] Vernacular languages of Beihai include Qin-Lian Yue, Hakka and Min. Mandarin is of increasing prevalence as a result of the Chinese government's general promotion of it. Transportation[edit] Air Transportation[edit] Beihai is served by Beihai Fucheng Airport (BHY). It serves domestic destinations and also Hong Kong. Rail[edit] Beihai is served by a railway branch from Nanning. There are passenger trains to Nanning and Guilin.[3] At the end of 2013, the introduction of high-speed (D-series) train service to Beihai was announced as well.[4] Climate[edit] Beihai has a monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate (Köppen Cwa), with mild to warm winters and long, hot (but not especially) summers, and very humid conditions year-round. The monthly 24-hour average temperature ranges from 14.5 °C (58.1 °F) in January to 28.8 °C (83.8 °F) in July, while extremes have ranged from 2.0 to 37.1 °C (36 to 99 °F). Rain is both the heaviest and most frequent from June to September, when 70% of the annual rainfall also occurs. This is in contrast to the autumn and winter months, where only 20 to 40 millimetres (0.79 to 1.57 in) of rain falls per month. The area receives about 2,000 hours of sunshine annually.[1]

China gives Pakistan two ships for security of CPEC sea route and Gwadar Port

05:20
China gives Pakistan two ships for security of CPEC sea route and Gwadar Port Islamabad: China yesterday handed over two maritime patrol vessels to the Pakistan Navy for joint security along the sea route of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor+ (CPEC), Dawn reported. Yesterday, the Chinese vessels were received by the Commander of the Pakistan Navy Vice-Admiral Arifullah Hussaini. The ships are called PMSS Hingol and PMSS Basol after two rivers in the region. "The ships have become part of the Pakistan Navy from today and the (Pakistan) navy would become stronger with the induction of these maritime vessels," Hussaini was quoted as saying by the Dawn. He added that the Pakistan-China friendship+ was becoming stronger and deeper than the ocean, day by day. China is expected to provide two more ships "Dasht" and "Zhob" to the Pakistan navy. It is already working on them and they are expected to be completed soon. Recommended By Colombia Pakistan has already raised a new division of the army to ensure security along the CPEC route and in and around the Gwadar port+ . Security of Gwadar city has been handed over to the army's new division created during the tenure of former chief of army staff retired Gen Raheel Sharif. The CPEC is an economic corridor+ comprising a collection of projects currently under construction at a cost of $54 billion. CPEC aims to facilitate trade along an overland route that connects Kashgar and Gwadar, through the construction of a network of highways, railways, optical fibre and pipelines. "The economic corridor will be a game-changer for Pakistan and China, and the entire region would benefit from it," the Pak navy official said. "The CPEC will open new vistas of speedy development in Balochistan and create thousands of jobs for the local youth," he said. CHINA SHIPPING CELEBRATES A 10 YEARS AT THE PORT OF LOS ANGELES

10:01
SAN PEDRO, Calif. — December 1, 2009 — China Shipping celebrates its 10-year anniversary of service with the Port of Los Angeles this month. The shipping line leases a high-volume container terminal that ranks as one of the Ports busiest operators and is in the midst of a major expansion project that will increase throughput, create thousands of jobs and reduce air emissions. The Port of Los Angeles is proud to have China Shipping as a business partner, said Port of Los Angeles Executive Director Geraldine Knatz, Ph.D. It has been a great privilege for the Port to have one of the industrys leaders provide a direct link between the U.S. West Coast and the Pacific Rim. And with China Shippings expansion project, the company will be well prepared for further growth. China Shipping operates the West Basin Container Terminal at the Port of Los Angeles, located at Berth 100 in San Pedro. The terminal currently features four super post-Panamax cranes, and handles both wheeled and grounded containerized cargo operations, serving the China Shipping, Yang Ming, K-Line, Cosco, Hanjin, Sinotrans, and Zim shipping lines. China Shipping also has a joint venture with a neighboring container terminal at the Port, operated by Yang Ming Shipping Line. China Shipping service with the Port of Los Angeles first started on December 3, 1999, when the M/V Trade Apollo, a 2,500-TEU container ship, called at the Yang Ming Terminal from the Port of Xiamen, China. Today, some of the worlds largest containerships routinely call at the Port of Los Angeles West Basin Container Terminal, where fleet size range from nearly 5,000- to 10,000-TEU loaded vessels. We look back to the path we took over the past decade and celebrate the triumphs, said Chairman Li Shaode of China Shipping. We take pride in our past accomplishments and we want to build on them. We view this anniversary as a new beginning, starting on a new journey hand in hand with our partners. China Shipping is in the midst of a six-year expansion project at the Port of Los Angeles. Upon completion, container terminal capacity will increase to accommodate an annual throughput of 1.5 million TEUs (twenty-foot equivalents, or 20-foot containers). The facility will expand to 142 acres of backland and 2,500 feet of wharves served by 10 Post-Panamax cranes. A series of environmental projects are included in the expansion project, including: * The use of Alternative Maritime Power™ (AMP™) by all cargo ships calling at the terminal by 2011. AMP™ eliminates the release of roughly a ton of ship emissions every 24 hours a ship is at berth. China Shipping was the first container terminal in the world to use AMP™ when it opened the West Basin Container Terminal at Berth 100 in 2004. AMP™ is a one-of-a-kind air quality program that focuses on reducing emissions from vessels docked at the Port of Los Angeles. Instead of running on diesel power while at berth, AMP™-equipped ships plug in to shore side electrical power literally an alternative power source for oceangoing vessels. * Use of low-sulfur fuel on container ships within 40 nautical miles of the Port. * One hundred percent compliance with the Ports Vessel Speed Reduction Program (VSRP) for ships transiting within 40 nautical miles of the Port. * Use of alternative-fueled tractors. * Use of electric rubber-tired gantry cranes. * Diesel particulate filters for use on lower-emission switcher locomotives. * A main terminal building constructed to Gold certification-level Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). The China Shipping project also includes several community beautification initiatives, including the development of a new community park in San Pedro (Plaza Park), implementing a Beautification Plan along area corridors and extensive landscaping along Front Street, which runs parallel to the terminal perimeter. Last year, with the help of China Shipping, the Port of Los Angeles imported nearly 4 million TEUs originating from China and Hong Kong a staggering 61% of all imports. China Shipping Group was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Shanghai. The company operates five ship fleets of more than 430 vessels with a total carrying capacity of nearly 500,000 TEUs, which includes container ships, oil tankers, bulk ships, passenger ships, and specialized cargo ships.

Watch - Special Report on Gwadar Port and China Pakistan Economic Corridor

04:52
Gwadar Port is a warm-water, deep-sea port situated on the Arabian Sea at Gwadar in Balochistan province of Pakistan. The port features prominently in the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) plan, and is considered to be a crucial link between the ambitious One Belt, One Road and Maritime Silk Road projects. Gwadar's potential to be a deep water sea port was first noted in 1954, while the city was still under Omani suzerainty. Plans for construction of the port were not realised until 2007, when the port was inaugurated by Parvez Musharraf after four years of construction, at a cost of $248 million. In 2015, it was announced that the city and port would be further developed under CPEC at a cost of $1.62 billion, with the aim of linking northern Pakistan and western China to the deep water seaport. The port will also be the site of a floating liquefied natural gas facility that will be built as part of the larger $2.5 billion Gwadar-Nawabshah segment of the Iran–Pakistan gas pipeline project. Construction began in June 2016 on the Gwadar Special Economic Zone, which is being built on 2,292 acre site adjacent to Gwadar's port.In late 2015, the port was officially leased to China for 43 years, until 2059. Gwadar Port became formally operational on 14 November 2016, when it was inaugurated by Pakistan's Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif; the first convoy was seen off by Pakistan's Ex Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "Amazing view of Chattar Muzaffarabad Aazad Kashmir from Lohar Gali" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9hCrlB8iA0 -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-
