When it comes to "the best diet to lose weight" (also known as a "cutting diet"), you'll get A LOT of suggestions as to which diet to lose weight fast you should follow. However, the truth is that whether it's keto, intermittent fasting, paleo, and so on, all of these diets work by making it easier for you to eat at a calorie deficit. These diets don't have a "secret" fat loss effect which has been proven time and time again in the literature. Simply meaning that the best weight loss diet or the best diet for abs for example is the one that you can adhere to the best. However, weight loss is one thing and fat loss is a whole other variable which is MUCH more important when it comes to improving your physique. When it comes to optimizing the best fat loss diet, you need to pay attention to how much protein,fats, and carbs you're ingesting on a daily basis. This way I feel strong, fit, and balanced, especially during these cold winter months! Has anyone gotten sick this winter yet? I had my first cold right after my holiday. I try to make variations of my meals and I love to change things up everyday. Being creative in the kitchen with all the different foods that are available in season can be fun, but it doesn't always work out. I'll maybe share a video on all the recipes that didn't work out if you guys like. So after my holiday to Thailand I got super inspired to to come back and create my own healthy version of the famous Pad Thai. So if you try it at home I promise it's SUPER YUMMY! I feel like the kitchen is my lab and I love experimenting with different kinds of superfoods which can be amazing boosts for your body. What I Eat In A Day As A Model | My Daily Routine For Food When I Am At Home, My Go To Breakfast, What I Eat For Lunch, What I Love To Make For Dinner, My Healthy Lifestyle | Sanne Vloet Hey Guys, Happy 1st of October! Guess what that means, only 30 days till HALLOWEEN! What are you guys going to dress up as this year? I need some inspiration for this year so help me out! So today's video was inspired by all of you who have asked me "what do you actually eat in a full day". This changes on a daily basis, but I wanted to share something that was more typical for me when I am at home in NYC and not on set working. This is the full version of what I eat in a day so leave me your questions and I'll get to as many of them as possible! Lately I have become obsessed with overnight oats. It's my staple breakfast at the moment and it is so easy to make, you just need to put the ingredients together in a bowl the night before and VOILA (French for there it is)! The reason why I recommend Chia seed is because the seeds soak up the almond milk and it gives the oats a nice fluffy texture. I have been doing a lot of meal prep because sometimes it gets super busy so I want to make sure I am prepared in advance. A lot of you have asked me where I find the time to eat healthy and the answer is that it is all about the preparation. So when I am listening to an audiobook or watching TV I multi-task with meal prep. **Pro-Tip: Plan it out** I've said this before, that I don't follow a diet, this is my lifestyle and I've chosen health and wellness as my priorities! It is very important to eat enough protein, fruit, vegetables, & whole grains. Portions are different from person to person so focus on what feels right to you! If I need more energy I'll eat more, for example on days when I am running around NYC I will most likely snack more. Just make sure you eat enough so you feel satisfied and you don't find yourself hungry throughout the day. This video is in response to the hundreds of people who have written me saying they knew their nutrition was horrible but felt powerless to improve it because of the schedule constraints of their work, school, or life. Eating 6 small, well balanced meals a day is easy when you know how and once your nutrition is on track you will find it easy to reduce bodyfat to show those 8-pack abs and gain muscle too. The one thing you need to do though is get rid of the idea that food always has to be tasty. Jack LaLane had a great saying "If it tastes good, spit it out!" and its so true. If something is that good then its most likely got too much sugar, salt, fat or artificial flavors. When something tastes really, really good your first thought should be - "whats in this?". Think about what you are eating! If what makes it taste good is the nasty stuff mentioned above then spit it out. Obviously if you are eating a carrot or an apple and it tastes good this doesnt apply. The saying is designed to make you think about everything you eat. If you dont know what is on the list of ingredients and its nutritional content then SPIT IT OUT! Can you eat just one meal a day? The human body can survive without a bite of food for up to 3 weeks. Of course, it’s a different story with water; you wouldn’t last more than 3 or 4 days without it! You and I both know that people are expected to eat 3 full meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Depending on how filling those meals are, you may squeeze in a few snacks here and there. It usually takes about 4 hours after each meal for your belly to start making those too-often-than-not embarrassingly monstrous growls, reminding you that it’s time for your next meal! But with different diets and fasting gaining popularity, I couldn’t help but wonder what would happen to my body if I ate just one meal every day for 30 days. I did it, and here’s what I got out of it! There aren’t too many strict guidelines to this diet. You can essentially eat any foods you want and as much as you want, as long as it’s during your one singular meal of the day. - Unlike a lot of other diets, there are no special ingredients involved and no annoying calorie counting. If you want French fries, have French fries! If you’re craving a big bowl of spaghetti, go for it! - If weight loss is a goal of yours, it’s important not to overeat during your one meal since it can disrupt the diet’s ability to help you maintain a steady drop in pounds. - After trying it for a couple of days, I found that my body quickly adjusted to this way of eating, and my appetite really wasn’t that raging. This must be because my stomach probably shrank after a few days, so I felt satisfied with just one meal a day. - For the first couple days, my stomach was definitely feeling hunger pangs. It started with stomach growls and ended with painful cramping. - For the first week, I just wanted to lie on the couch and Netflix and chill all day long. My energy was super low, and I felt so lethargic. - After the 30 days, I found that I’d actually dropped a few pounds! I felt pretty awesome not only because I’d gotten leaner and felt healthier, but I was also really proud of myself for sticking to a diet that I easily could’ve given up on. - One of the main concerns I found online was the fact that women and men respond differently to this type of intermittent fasting. Women have a stronger need for iron in their diet. - I also read up on different studies. One of them was conducted in 2017 by researchers at the University of Saskatchewan. They found that the one meal a day diet can be helpful for people suffering from type 2 diabetes since it helps with weight loss and reducing blood sugar levels. - Other studies have shown that it can really help increase the lifespan in people with obesity. - It just a super specific thing that each person should check with their doctor to see if they can do it safely. A lot of people swear by it, and I’m happy with the weight loss results I got. Green tea has been praised for having a ton of major health benefits, like increasing metabolism, burning fat, fighting anxiety, and reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease, to name a few. - The practice of using chopsticks also helps in weight management, since they make you eat more slowly and in smaller bites. This slow process of eating helps people catch when they’re feeling full and avoid eating too much. The fact that food is served on a bunch of plates also slows down the process. - The number one way that the Japanese stay thin has to do with removing distractions and being mindful about the process of food consumption.
